Magnet is AWESOME. It is super strong and comes with two types of mounting hardware (screws and bolt/washer/lock nut combo). Mounting holes are recessed. What is really nice about this magnet is the "top hat" design. The actual magnet operates as a spacer, so you have room to actually grab the grip of your handgun if the gun is positioned flush to the mounting surface. The raised portion of the magnet allows just enough room for my fingers to fit between the grip and the mounting surface. The magnet held my fully loaded Glock 19 with Streamlight light with no problems. Rubber coating covers the entire magnet and appears to be durable. And bonus: it's made in the USA. I will be purchasing a another magnet for my other vehicle.

This puppy is STRONG. Nothing is falling off of it, that's for sure. Plastic coating protests the metal. Everything arrived as advertised. I primarily bought from this vendor because of their "Made in the USA" promise. I wonder if the magnet material itself probably did not originate in China, but I will take them at their word that this is a USA product. I do not appreciate vendors who promote patriotism and the American flag in their marketing and then low and behold, when you did down deep, their products are imported from China. This vendor does not appear to be doing that, so hats off to them. I will likely buy from them again.

Install was a breeze, I riveted mine to the back wall of the cabinet. Holds my Colt Government Model with a loaded mag in it (that's a 3 pound gun right there) with no drama. I hang mine vertical between two rifles. In this configuration, the best place to hang the gun from the magnet is where the cocking serrations are on the slide. Will get more for other jobs.

USA made with nice rubberized coating and plenty strong. Holds my revolver and pistol GREAT, mounted mine under steering wheel. Will be purchasing two more.

The strength of this magnet is impressive. I was concerned with a vehicle mount that the magnet would not be strong enough to hold the weapon on bumps and rough terrain, but as soon as I open it and held it to the gun I knew that was not going to be a problem. I use mine with an M&P Shield and the lock between the gun and the magnet strong. The rubber that surrounds the magnet is durable and thick. No worries about about this tearing and/or scratching my firearms. I am going to purchase a few more to use inside my safe. Great Product! Very happy to see it's US made as well!

Exactly what I was looking for, and better than I expected. I mounted it behind a nightstand and it works perfectly. The magnet is amazingly strong. I would strongly recommend this product. I will certainly purchase additional if the need arises.
