20TM-CE Mahogany Tenor Cutaway Ukulele

I am a long time guitar player and have a collection of guitars. I own electric, acoustic, classical, bass but have never gotten into ukulele until recently. After doing a bit of research I decided on the Cordoba 20 TM-CE Acoustic Electric Tenor for my first ukulele. I am very happy with it. First off, it is a very nice looking ukulele, with a very solid feel to it. Nothing on this looks cheaply made. I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice it looks. I was really worried because this was the first time I have purchased an instrument online and without having spent some real time playing with it. Plus, I realized I would be getting an instrument right out of the box without any kind of "setup" which is not the ideal way of making a perfect match. I would recommend always playing an instrument before buying it but I will say that I was lucky and it worked out for me this time. Admittedly, I am new to the ukulele and there is an adjustment to make from the guitar but so far it has been a pretty easy transition. I am loving this thing. The tone is nice and I couldn't be happier. There is a learning curve with the different tuning/fret size/action and I will probably switch out to a low G string but I am having a blast learning this thing. There are no strap buttons on this ukulele so if you are one to play with a strap you will have to improvise with that or install one. There are kits and they are easy to install if you want to wear a strap. If you are looking for a mid range ukulele, this to me feels like a great bang for your buck.

On aurait aimé que le sillet de tête et chevalet soit limé car l'action est très haute, la justesse est très limite dans les aiguës , après modifications rien à redire!!!

Schade, aber leider verzogen. Ich spiele seit etwa einem Jahr die 20SM von Cordoba. Ein sehr schönes Instrument. Oktavenrein und alles. Also dachte ich mir, versuche mal eine größere Cordoba, mit E-Ausgang. Im ersten Moment war auch alles wie erwartet, nur die Stimmung wurde nie richtig gehalten. Recht normal bei neuen Saiten dachte ich mir und gab ihr noch ein paar Tage. Allerdings fühlte sich rund um den neunten Bund immer etwas falsch an, es schnarrte. Nun bin ich kein Experte was Instrumentenbau angeht und zeigte das Stück mal rum. Es stellte sich heraus das der neunte Bund einfach nicht ordentlich in den Hals gearbeitet wurde, daher zu weit abstand und ständig Kontakt zur Saite hat, wenn man den tieferen Halbton anschlägt. Ich sag mal so, vielleicht kann das ein geübter Gitarrenbauer einfach reparieren, für mich blieb realistischer Weise nur die Rücksendung. Ab dem 200€ Preisniveau erwarte ich ehrlich gesagt eine Endkontrolle die den Namen verdient. Solche Defekte kann man automatisch, Stichwort Laservermessung oder manuell, einfach mal stimmen und alle Töne anschlagen - leicht im Werk herausfinden. Bleibt nur wieder die Erkenntnis -niemals Musikinstrumente online kaufen.

È uno strumento molto solido e ben fatto. Il livello è professionale e il prezzo è in linea con la qualità. Il colore del legno è pieno, le corde in dotazione sono aquila, sempre ottime, il suono è bello pulito. Il sistema di amplificazione non fa una piega. Spedizione anche lei ottimale, perfettamente imballato nella sua scatola, tipico di Amazon.
