Rocky start
The first thing I noticed was the dedication. I know it sounds like a “duh” thing to say, but this blew me out of the water. It was dedicated to those who died at the Pulse Nightclub on June 12, 2016, and listed all forty-nine individuals. Reading the list brought back the confusion and heartache I experienced when I first heard about the shootings. Thank you for remembering them, Lisa Oliver.I was in the mood for a lightweight read and this perfect bit of fluff fit my mood to a T. Asaph, the alpha wolf, is a stubborn bonehead and insists he doesn't want a male mate. I was ready to smack him with a rolled up newspaper. Thank goodness Bronson, Asaph's best friend, wielded a metaphorical newspaper concealing a lead pipe and got Asaph's attention. Ronan is a sweetheart and his human "pack" is a hoot. Then there's the assorted mix of dastardly cretins trying to get their hands on Asaph's money. All in all, a great book when you want to curl up with a cup of coffee and just relax.

Totally unbelievable plot
I loved the first two books in this series. The third one I couldn't finish because the alpha was a jerk and I got tired of his waffling. The author took too long and had altogether too many plot devices for this third book to be enjoyable. For this fourth one, I loved the characters at first and, as always the omega was wonderful. However, the plot was so bad I was disgusted. There is no way a very successful businessman like Asaph would ever be taken by his ex-girlfriend and her father. All he had to do was get a team of lawyers, private detectives and demand proof and it would have been nipped in the bud. Totally unbelievable. I didn't finish this one either. I won't be reading any more of this series.Which is too bad because her Cloverleah Pack series books are always enjoyable. It's almost like the Alpha and Omega series was written by someone else.

Another great one from Lisa Oliver
Harder in Heels is the fourth book in the Alpha and Omega series by Lisa Oliver. You know there are going to be a lot of different emotions here, especially when the dedication can bring you to tears.Ms. Oliver has the ability to pull you right in with the men from her books and this one is no exception. Ronan is an omega who was always told by his mother to avoid other wolves. Asaph is an alpha who always thought that his mate would be female. I liked how Ronan wasn't a pushover like some omega's are, he really needed that backbone when he meets and deals with Asaph.I won't give away any spoilers but even though I really liked this book I would have loved to have had a little more in depth background on both of the MC's and Shaman Walker. There were quite a few times than Asaph needed to be smacked upside his head and thankfully he has his best friend, Bronson, to do so. And don't even get me started on Leticia. Man, did she need a padded room.I know that Ms. Oliver has said that this series is made up of stand alone books but I would love to read a story about Branson.Kudos to Ms. Oliver for another wonderful read!!P.S. I want Ronan's boot collection. LOL

Delightful.
bookshelves: dance-ice-skating, m-m, made-me-smile, makes-me-laugh, mc-to-love, series, shiftersRead from August 22 to 23, 2016I am in love with Ronan. He is delightful and sassy. He is everything Asaph does not want but everything his wolf wants. Ronan is everything that Asaph does not realize he needs. It was fun watching the Alpha, Asaph, meet his mate and submit to the so-called weaker Omega. This is a delightful story. Is it realistic? No. Do I care? No. Remember it is about shifters. I loved this story.

Love this Story!
When I first started reading this book, I had zero desire to learn about the offer. I wanted to hate him so much. But is soon as he spotted Ronan, and he softened his heart and started to believe in the Alpha Omega pairing that the face so graciously gave him that I fell head over heels in love with these two men. I hope and pray Bronson gets a book on his phone because I can’t wait to see what the faith Evans store for him. Ring on the next book!!!

Left me smiling
I always enjoy a book by Lisa Oliver. Ever since I ran across her first foray into MM Romance, The Reluctant Wolf, I've looked forward to every book. Always a fun and satisfying read.Ronan is a perky, skilled dancer who just happens to be an Omega Wolf. Asaph is an Alpha who never thought he'd find his mate. Between fighting the pull and showing himself to a self centered jerk who is afraid to be seen as gay, this couple have a rocky start. Add in a psychotic ex, scheming con men and trouble with his wolf for trying to refuse his mate, it's a wild ride from start to finish.

Great couple
I really liked Asaph and Ronan together, a business man and a dancer, a alpha and an omega. And I loved Ronan! I really admire men who dances in heels and it's hot as hell to watch so I understand Asaphs reaction.A good story with some obstacles before they got their HEA.

Don't mess with a man in heels.
I love this book, Ronan is not your average Omega, he is a strong individual who has wonderful friends. Asaph was a jerk in the beginning but he grew on me. Asaph needed to be less concered with apperances and more concerned with his mate. I love when Asaph and Bronson tried to keep up with Ronan, Jeff and Marcos excersing. One word about Leticia "witch", she gets what she deserves.

Enjoyable - mostly
I love this series, generally speaking I love Lisa Oliver's books. But when reading this book I was bored with the repetitive silly, not to mention annoying, phrases that Ronan said throughout. For example : fiddly sugar plums - tootsie pops & cabbage rolls - fiddlesticks - sugar pops - sugar pops& candy floss, etc, etc. I mean who talks like that?

Another winner
There is nothing written by Lisa Oliver that I haven't loved and this is no exception. The alpha and omega's story wasn't straightforward but they got their hea. Would have loved for there to have been more but that's just me being greedy!Highly recommend reading this book.

Enjoyed
Really enjoying this series and this book is a good read, great characters and story. Was willing the main characters to have a happy ending and despite some big obstacles, namely the ex, they did. Recommended.
