I bought these as corbels for a mantle project. I looked all over for something that was perfect and could not find what I wanted without spending over $300. I found theses and wanted more information about their construction. Looked up the company and their facebook page had a phone number. They actually answered the phone and discussed the products specifications and construction with me. Great customer service in this day and age! These are very strong brackets, which weigh quite a bit. I have no doubt about their 150 lb load rating EACH. I added a steel strap to the back for extra mounting points as I was anchoring into brick only. The previous mantel was light and not anchored into the studs. I wanted to cover the previous holes and add an anchor above my mantle. These would have easily held the weight of the new mantle if attached into studs for support, but the previous owner drilled where he wanted. Thank you for a well made product at a reasonable price.For those complaining about chips in paint. Mine were unchiped, but the box took a beating in the mail. Two heavy metal objects, no matter how much bubble wrap in a box, might get chipped. That is what spay paint is for and you customize the color to your taste at the same time.

These two beautiful brackets were the perfect complement to my new mantel in a newly finished basement. They are also very sturdy. Love them!

I really like how sturdy these are for my new countertops. After the installation of these, my remodel was complete and put the finishing touches on my house

These hand forged supports are very heavy and should support almost anything. Even though they are shown as black, in uppercase letters, I wasn't expecting them to be shiny. They are very stark in my setting and will be painting them when adding them to our kitchen counter top island.

Very happy with this purchase! They look great and are very well crafted. Also, kudos to the vendor who was extremely helpful when I needed to contact them for some measurement information. He followed up quickly to answer all of my questions and even followed up again later to make sure I was happy with the purchase.

After looking around at the local stores, I couldn't find anything with the fit/finish/character I was looking forward that was also solid and sturdy. I decided to give Amazon a try and came across this. It is exactly what I was looking for to add character and support for the overhang of our counter. GREAT product, very well packaged and delivered right on time!

Good size and shape-heavy iron, but no holes in the top to attach to bottom of shelf or counter...crazy!!!!
