After welding professionally for the last 8 years, I took the dive and picked up a I new Lincoln tig welder for my shop to take on new jobs. The hand that I use to feed filler rod has had several traumatic injuries, so I was having difficulty feeding rod smoothly and consistently as I’d like during a weld, especially with gloves on. You get what you see. Solid full metal unit that does what it is suppose to do.I tried it on Aluminum TIG Welding using 1.6mm + 2.4mm wire where it works as advertised. With a Soft Leather Glove on you Feeding hand, it still gives you enough feel on the Roller to feed the wire with ease.For those of us that do just the occasional TIG Welding, this lets us focus more on the Torch height and speed then worry about keeping the wire feed consistent. Delivery was before estimated time to Australia.
