I have a small lawn that I mow with a mulcher-mower. This stuff really works to prevent mulch buildup.

Appears to help green my lawn.

I really can't vouch for any of the claims that are made for this product except that applying it as directed worked to make my grass greener, thicker, lusher, and grow faster.I have a 3 year old lawn on poor topsoil in a new development. I have been using only organic products such as Dr Earth Supernatural Lawn Food, Medina Hasta Gro, and corn meal gluten. I also use a Toro Super Recycler mulching mower so my fertilizer is not thrown out with the clippings, and I cut the lawn tall. My lawn has steadily improved in appearance and health since I started using these products. I use much less water than my neighbors to keep my grass looking healthier.That said, it never consistently had that lush green look. There were areas that had it, and areas that did not, but it was not until I tried measuring my soils moisture content that I realized how hard the soil was.I originally bought a quart to use on high traffic areas of my lawn and give the rest a light dose. It worked well enough for me to get another gallon to repeat a month later. I put a half-gallon down next over the entire yard and was rewarded with a greener lawn in less than a week and was needing to mow it more often. I was also able to cut back on the amount of water I was putting on it.There were still spots that were not as nice as the rest, so I hit those spots and wound up overdoing it, as those spots are now much greener and the grass is denser and faster growing. The grass is denser than I've ever seen in those areas. It is simply amazing to me what this liquid is doing. It has a much more pronounced effect than any other product I have used. I am guessing that at least part of this is due to the fact that I have been applying fertilizer as directed, and that the fertilizer is now being used more effectively as the soil health improves.I plan on putting down the rest as a very light application on the rest of the lawn and hope that will get me to consistancy.I am very happy with this product and will be ordering more for next spring.

Not sure if it did anything after using as directed. It's been a few weeks and I see my grass looking a little more dead than before to be honest.

I have an area that had been gravel before building a new barn and changing the layout of the driveway. That area has been easy to see for the last 3 years even though it is mostly grass covered it is scraggly and parts die off easily. In the past 3 years, I've put down topsoil and new grass seed but nothing seems to take hold. I am so lazy I have only applied this stuff once, and you can see 3 distinct areas where it has made the bad spot blend with the rest of the lawn. I'm sure I'll need to do it at least a couple of more times and may even need to dig up some old gravel spots that have too little dirt, but the improvement is dramatic for the time it took. I'd recommend this as a last ditch approach for anyone with a problem lawn. Not a lot of time and money to invest. Do give it a month or so to show progress. I kind of forgot about it and just glanced over one day and noticed the difference. So if you keep after it over the course of spring through summer you'll probably have even better luck than me.

I bought this product for a steep roadside part of our yard that is in the sun all day. It had become hard and sandy and water just ran down it and it had no nutrients. Really working it back into shape was tearing it up and it is roadside after all so I chose this product to try. After the second application is when I noticed the difference. I can actually stick my finger into the ground now. All this while fertilizing the grass and not having to tear it up. I also tried a little on the foilage of my flowering plants and they just love it. Setup and application is straightforward and painless.It's hard to go wrong with this product. The ONLY reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is I wish it went a little farther for the money. Performancewise it's 5 out of 5. If you want to go full yard an foilage I would definitely get the larger size. Or try the smaller one and see what you think. I just bought my second small bottle (because it comes with the hose attatchment, ready to spray) and will probably be buying more.

Did not perform as claimed in aeration

I had an area on the corner of my house that had hard compacted clay soil. It was full of weeds and thin sparse grass that was barely hanging onto life. I would fertilize, and water, and nothing seemed to help. Water would just run off, and the fertilizer probably ran off too. I applied this product in mid-june and did'nt notice any differences the first week. The beginning of the following week we had a good rainfall, and thats when I noticed the dramatic improvement. The grass actually got thicker, greener, and patches that were once sparse, started to fill in. During the extreme heat in July and August (somedays were well over 100 degrees) this section of lawn required little, or no water, while the rest of my lawn struggled. Im not exactly sure how it works, but I think it has something to do with the microbes in the soil. From now on I will be applying this product twice a year as a regular part of my lawn maintenance.
