These worked great an easy to install but the only down side is they aren’t even 3 months old an they already don’t retract when push the button any more I have to crank it down like a ratchet strap now an I only fish fresh water they still work but sucks having to crank the strap in every time instead of push the button if you have the money go with a better brand that’s what I will be doing

These are not only good for boats. I use these to anchor my 4-wheeler to the trailer or in the back of the pickup. I have had a set on my trailer for over a year now and only maintenance I’ve done is to keep them rinsed out. These keeps them working freely after going down muddy roads.

Was a little sceptic when I first found them, I was worried that the price would make them cheep and maybe not hold my boat to the trailer, It was just the opposite they went. Really like the fact that when they are un-hooked they are still attached to the trailer and easy to reconnect when done fishing for the day.!

I bought these because one of my cam over tie downs broke. They are a good alternative. They bolted right onto my trailer and they do a good job of holding my boat in place. My only issue is that after 1 season, the spring inside is worn out and they don't retract very well anymore. Not sure how they would hold up in saltwater, but so far they have held up well in northern Wisconsin

I put 6 of these on my short trailer. Easy loading retractable. They probably wouldn’t last long if left out in the sun. Small covers would be smart to protect from weather. I get compliments. I’m going to buy more for my truck bed.

I will say they are easy to install, easy to work but after two days one of the straps just broke so I tied a not in it to keep using it and it broke again, now I bought 4 instead of 2 for my lawn mower to keep it in place. The other 3 are perfectly fine but one is just weak I guess. I'm still using it but I wish the fabric was a little stronger.

A little bit to get use too, does not work like a conventional ratchet strap. But stays on the trailer and you have don’t have to keep up with straps. I had to buy bolts to fasten ,what came with it didn’t work with my trailer (less than a dollar

Why have I not gotten this before. No more messing time to untangle straps & get my boat tied down.

I bought these for the front of my inflatable boat, which has a tendency to bounce while trailering due to the weight of the outboard at the back of the boat. I always have 2 ratchet straps across the boat boat (1 rearwards and 1 towards front) but there would still be a bit of flexing/bouncing, particularly on dirt roads. I was able to easily drill & mount the ratchet straps onto the tongue of my trailer and my Swellfish boat has D-rings that work great for securing the boat onto the trailer. I no longer see the front of the boat bouncing during trailering and I feel much more confident that nothing will get damaged, or worse, cause the boat to shift on the trailer while driving. These were an inexpensive, easy to install and efficient fix for the issue I was having during trailering and recommend them. One last thing I recommend doing is after installing, I sprayed them thoroughly with WD-40 to prevent rust/corrosion. I soaked the straps and mechanism, as I use my boat in both fresh water and salt water. I re-apply the WD-40 every couple of trips out to the water to keep the protection in place.

These are very very good. They act like a seat belt, press the button and the retract or release the tension. Have them attached to the side of my trailer to support the loading ramp, very easy to fit with a single bolt. Very easy to use and they are doing exactly what I needed them to do, should all be ok, no idea on longevity but they have now been fitted a few weeks and out in all weathers and no issues what so ever. Very pleased with them.
