What a great pot for a kitchen!!!
We have the larger size Can Cooker and really like it when we're out camping; however, once they came out with the smaller size, we snapped one up. It's much easier to fit in our little travel trailer but it provides the same cooking ease/power of it's bigger brother. While it's nice cooking over an open fire (well, grill) when camping, in inclement weather, there's nothing like a Can Cooker for whipping up chicken, stews, chili, etc. inside the trailer. It cleans up like a dream (no sticking if you follow the directions) and the fact that it's really a 'low pressure, pressure cooker' means that you can have meals on the table in no time. I purchased two, one of each of my daughters and they love theirs as well. In fact, when my one daughter finally got around to using it, she reported back to me that it was one of the best things to have in either the kitchen or out camping (over a camp stove).

Awesome for Camping!
I got this CanCooker for christmas and used it on a kayak trip, set it over the fire on a grate for cooking. We cooked sausages, jumbalaya, soup, and scrambled eggs on our trip. Was easy to clean in the river, might of helped that I sprayed it with non stick oil prior to each meal. We were very impressed with it, I'm going to buy the larger one next for larger get togethers, but this one was perfect size for food for 4 people for each meal. It's well worth its price

Pretty Cool Cooker
Let me first say that the "Companion" size is more than adequate for a normal family of 4. If this can't feed everybody, you have some total calorically challenged chow hounds at your table. I can't even imagine how much food the larger Can Cookers would make! This thing reminds me of what you'd get if a crock pot and a pressure cooker had a love child. It cooks fairly fast and everything gets done well. I'd think those trying to eat more health consciously would love one of these because you're basically steaming your food. You control the salt content as well. Of course, I accept my obesity and add enough herbs & spices to make the ghost of Colonel Sanders want to kiss me, but that's just me. As this is basically a steam cooker, you can expect bland taste unless you dose it up good with seasonings. The build quality seems quite sturdy for a lightweight pot. I noticed 2 minor gripes: 1. I had to turn my lid a certain way to get the steam to escape the hole instead of leaking out of the side of the lid. 2. The silicone seal came off my lid and ended up resting on the rim of the pot when I was finished cooking. (Not sure if that's normal or not) Mine came with the carry bag, which is nice, but no recipe book. That's cool too because I'm sure you can figure recipes out on your own. You could make pretty much anything in one of these if you have half a lick of common sense.

its amazing. make dinner then pop corn for a movie all in one at the camp ground. it cooks amazingly ive used this as a friend had it before i bought this one 40-50 times. its amazing. it will not no matter what you do not blacken on the outside fyi but that really doesnt mean much as it still works perfect. rub soap on it or all the other bs people post it will still turn a black/bronze.

Wish I’d have known about this sooner
Love this thing! Second time using it. Just did a chuck roast and veggies. Nothing beats a Dutch oven for a beef roast but this is pretty close. Recommend getting the cookbook to learn from then you can tinker with the recipes. You’re gonna love what this cooker does to veggies . Experiment with seasonings and liquids for different flavors. Set at 5 or 6 on my electric burner then adjust to 3.5 when steam starts. Once I get used to the required cooking times for different meat then I won’t really need the cookbook.

We love ours. Have in both sizes.
My kids love making omelets in this when camping. Throw all the ingredients in a zip lock and drop in it the water. Boil until cooked through. Also nice for shrimp boils. The opportunities are endless. We have the larger one also but this size is nice to have when no doing such a big portion. Can’t wait to do soup at deer camp. Purchased one for my father also on his birthday and he loves it.

Great for game hunters
This can cooker makes ribs really tasty. Don’t recommend it for veggies like zucchini, squash or carrots. Too mushy. Product too pricey

Perfect size for two to four people and for travel.
Bought this to have in our travel van but of course it made it into the house and now it’s part of the regular rotation for weekly meals. It does what it says and is durable. You could probably do the sale with a large pot as all this is is really a glorified steamer. But it’s fun to load all the stuff into it and watch for the steam from the vent hole. The food tastes great. Very light weight for traveling too. I stick dish rags inside it for travel to maximize storage space. Great product that’s easy to clean too.
