I wear these with heavy wool socks with my boods shile hiking and backpacking. They help reduce blisters and makes putting my boots on so much easier.

Disappointed
The largest size are too small for a 21-inch calf. They kept sliding down my calves. Wore one pair for one day and threw them away. Not worth sending back. Will donate the remaining pairs in the hope someone can wear them. Might work for someone with smaller calves.
