Cool product if you have lots of sunlight, but buy direct from manufacturer if you want service or have questions
A cool idea.....but not for my application as it turns out. These lights need LOTS of sunlight in order to work. Found that out after I installed them on my deck and they didn't work properly. So I called the manufacturer....and found out the shade on my deck didn't allow enough light to charge them each day. But to the everlasting credit of the manufacturer, Lake Lights, they said they have a newer version just coming out and they will send me replacements as soon as they get the new style.The manufacturer gets high marks for customer service, getting right back to my email plea for help, and when I get the new deck dots I'll update my report.As for the seller, Gatzies, they didn't do anything to help. When I emailed them they said to contact the manufacturer instead of trying to help out. I won't be buying from them in the future, but I will be testing out the new lights soon.My recommendation.....Go direct to lakelights.com and skip Gatzies.

Can't find anything better for our use
I'm on my 3rd year on these lights and so far so good. Simple to install, no wires, and no upkeep. I use them on our boat dock. They fit almost flush with the wood so they are not a trip hazard. I justed ordered more for a dock extension we are building.
