Brilliant torch. On off button makes it easy to use.

Please see video with this review for close up of torch and of torch being powered on...
Please see video with this review for close up of torch and of torch being powered on, going through the 3 different modes and powered off. Please also see photos with this review for torch dimensions and weight and for box case and contents. At 12cm long and weighing just 163g this torch is ideal size for diving. Beam on high is very bright. I really like that it has the traffic light status around the on/off button to show how much battery is remaining (per photos and video). Comes with battery and charger. Battery compartment on torch has 3 grommet seals on the screw thread (2 x spare grommet seals included) to keep inside waterproof. The case is not the best quality but for a torch at this price level it would be unfair to criticise it for having plastic case and not aluminium since case does the job of storing torch and accessories and has foam padded lining.

Dive Torch Scuba Diving Flashlight
So apparently this torch is for diving , but I just wanted a truly waterproof torch which hopefully this will be ideal . You get a plastic box with the torch inside , there is also the battery which is separate and a separate charger , I suppose they are using a separate battery , as it would have been difficult to fully seal a charging port on an integrated battery ? You also get an instruction booklet and a long chunky strap ( probably more use when diving with it , but I have put it on and I am using it) I fully charged the battery first , the charger has a red light when charging and goes out when charged , the charger feels very cheap , but it does the job , in fact the plastic case feels very cheap too. The torch itself feels good , all aluminum and just the right size and weight , really sits in your hand nicely . To turn on just push the power button , there are three modes , High , low and flashing , unfortunately you will have to cycle through all these to turn off . Around the on button it lights up and this tells you the charge of the battery , green means fully charged , red means low etc etc The beam pattern is quite concentrated and you can not adjust it , it is fixed . It also comes with some spare seals for the torch , where you take it apart to get to the battery , although there are three seals there and they only had two in the packet of spare ? Good torch , but I feel it is overpriced at the time of me getting it

Great little torch ...
First: an admission. I didn't want this for scuba diving. I wanted it for my job as a guide in a sometimes gloomy Scottish castle, where I like people to be able to see what I'm talking about. I need something small, powerful and rechargeable, and this ticks all the boxes. Like most metal-cased torches with rechargeable batteries, it's quite heavy, but not unwieldy with it. It has a concentrated central beam and a more diffuse outer nimbus, which suits my needs extremely well. To recharge it you have to open the torch, remove the battery and then recharge it in the small recharger supplied with the torch (or, presumably, any suitable recharger). As it's a waterproof this makes perfect sense, and is no real bother. The control is very simple: one button which is ON/DIM/SOS/OFF and you have to reel through them all to switch it off: there is no shortcut - but again, this is not a problem. As it's actually marketed as torch for scuba diving, I did check that it is, indeed, waterproof and functions properly underwater. I suspended it about 12 inches down in the icy cold rainwater butt in the garden (which was literally just above freezing) and left it there, switched on, for two hours. When I came back to it, it was still shining brightly: photographic proof supplied - which also shows that bright central beam well. The torch comes in a neat carry case with the recharger, extra silicon sealing rings (it has three fitted to ensure a waterproof seal) and a robust lanyard/wrist strap. It's an impressive little torch and very well worth the asking price. Highly recommended.

Excellent torch
This torch comes in a plastic storage case with a charger and USB-C cable, a wrist strap and a couple of spare o-rings for the waterproof seal. The torch feels very solid, being made entirely of aluminium. There is a loop for the wrist strap machined into the metal on the rear of the torch. One press of the button turns it on in high power mode, a second press makes it go to a dimmer setting and a third makes it flash on and off. There is a ring around the button that changes colour depending on the battery charge level. The torch is extremely bright on the high setting and gets quite warm in use, if using it for diving I suspect it would stay cool as the water draws the heat away. I thought I’d fully charged it and got about an hour and 15 minutes use on the high setting. This is less than advertised so not sure if I didn’t charge it fully or it had reduced battery life due to the heat from being used out of water.

Excellent build quality.
The WindFire Dive Torch Scuba Diving Flashlight is a powerful and reliable tool for underwater exploration, delivering up to 3000 lumens of bright, focused light. Its IPX8 waterproof rating ensures that it performs well even in deep-water conditions, making it suitable for both recreational and professional diving. The durable construction feels robust, and it holds up well against underwater pressure. The torch features three modes (high, low, and strobe), giving you flexibility depending on your needs, whether you’re illuminating wide areas or signalling. The power indicator is a handy addition, ensuring you’re aware of the battery level so you’re not caught off guard during a dive. The rechargeable battery is long-lasting, and it holds enough power to get through multiple dives on a single charge. One potential downside is that the torch can get warm when used out of water for long periods, but underwater, this isn’t an issue. Additionally, while the beam is impressively bright, it might feel a bit too concentrated for those who prefer a wider light spread.

Are these fancy high illumination specialty lights? No. But that being said, they are actually really bright. I have other lights that are brighter. But for the money the battery last a long time and charges easily. It is light in weight and small enough to put in a pocket or not create drag while diving. The strap works great and hold well, I just wish it wasn't as long but you can fix that easily. Cuts through dark water well and works great during night dives! I would buy again. And a great buy if you are diving on a budget

I recently had the opportunity to test out Windfire's 5000 Lumen Diving Light, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every aspect. As an avid diver, having a reliable and powerful diving light is crucial, and this product delivered outstanding performance. First and foremost, the brightness of this light is truly remarkable. Boasting an impressive 5000 lumens, it illuminates the underwater world with unparalleled clarity and brightness. Whether exploring wrecks, caves, or reefs, this diving light effortlessly cuts through the darkness, revealing vibrant colors and intricate details that might otherwise go unnoticed. The super-bright output truly enhances the overall diving experience. The build quality of this diving light is top-notch. Designed to withstand the rigors of underwater exploration, it is waterproof and durable, allowing me to dive with confidence. The sturdy construction ensures that it can handle the inevitable bumps and knocks associated with diving adventures. I appreciate the attention to detail in the design, such as the solid grip and well-placed buttons, allowing for easy operation even with gloves on. One of the standout features of this diving light is its rechargeable battery. Gone are the days of constantly buying and replacing batteries. With the included rechargeable battery, I can easily charge it before each dive, ensuring a reliable and sustainable power source. The battery life is impressive as well, providing ample usage time for multiple dives without any worries. The versatility of this diving light is another aspect that deserves praise. It offers various lighting modes, including high and low brightness, as well as a strobe function for emergency signaling. This range of options allows me to adapt to different diving conditions and conserves battery life when needed. In terms of value for money, the Windfire 5000 Lumen Diving Light certainly delivers. It competes with other top-tier diving lights on the market, offering comparable performance at a more affordable price point. With its exceptional brightness, durability, rechargeable battery, and versatile lighting modes, this light is a fantastic investment for both professional and recreational divers. Overall, the Windfire 5000 Lumen Diving Light has earned my highest recommendation. Its exceptional brightness, waterproof design, long-lasting rechargeable battery, and overall reliability make it a must-have accessory for any diving enthusiast. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced diver, this diving light will undoubtedly enhance your underwater adventures.

I currently run three of these dive lights — two mounted to my helmet when on rescue dives and one carried by hand — and they’ve performed exceptionally well. The output is bright and focused enough to cut through dark water while still providing usable spill for peripheral visibility. The beam pattern works well in practical dive conditions rather than just looking impressive on paper. Mounted to my helmet, they stay secure and balanced without adding unnecessary bulk, and the handheld unit provides flexibility when I need to direct light independently. The power indicator is a helpful feature, especially during longer operations, since it gives clear feedback on remaining battery life rather than leaving you guessing. The rechargeable setup has been convenient and dependable. For anyone needing a durable, high-output dive light that works equally well mounted or handheld, this has been a strong performer in my setup. I’ve trusted it enough to run three of them, which says a lot.

This light was super bright underwater in the lake. It seems to be knock proof because I dropped it on a rock and it still works great! It's definitely waterproof and the port seals up well. The handle opening is convenient to make sure its always easy to grab. The charge seemed to hold for as long as we needed it. I didn't actually scuba dive with it, but as a waterproof flashlight, it works great!
