Direct replacement for Winguard
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The right antenna for a Winguard replacement. Installation was simple. However reception is about the same. I went thru the Winguard electronics. My original wiring is poor condition RG59. Replacing with RG6 seems too difficult at this time. I cut off the bad that I could. Ease of installation: I wanted a direct replacement. This is. Reception: UHF antenna for Digital TV. With VHF secondary. (I’m trying to pull from 60 miles. So it does a fair job.) Value for money: Not much improvement over existing so…

TV scan 49 channels!
Installed in attic TV scan 49 channels. Not break up, solid picture. Inside flat panel only got 25 channels.

Needs modification if replacing an "AntennaTek" batwing vs. a Winegard Sensar
This antenna is much better than the "bat wing" style that it replaces. It is important to note that not all bat wing oem antennas are the Winegard Sensar. Ours was manufactured by Antennatek which is a knockoff and closely resembles the Winegard. I made one modification by drilling an additional hole in the support boom to accomodate the Clearstream bracket. It's an easy job if your comfortable with a cordless drill and bit. Aslo, you will need to retain the one of the original pins and clips from the AntennaTek to run through the hole on the secondary boom.

It works!
I’ve wasted money on numerous antennas with zero results. I have a large hill blocking the signals and I live on a boat. Formulas for disaster. Then I bought this one. Ran it up the 15 ft pole I had and couldn’t believe it. Clear picture and a bunch of channels to choose from. Worked well in a wind storm. Best purchase this year!!!
