This is the best magsafe phone car mount and charger in my opinion. It ensures your phone will not overheat during charging and the magnet is strong enough to hold your phone in place while driving even through bumpy roads. I haven’t tried off roading but i have driven through a gravel road and my phone has not fallen off. This version is 7.5 watts and there is a 15 watts version but that costs three times more so i got this one because you get more value for your money. It is easy to install whether you use the adhesive stand and the vent stand. My wife wanted to try it so i installed it in her car and now she doesn’t want to give it back and i just bought another one haha. It is not heavy and fits most car vents as it fit both my car and my wife’s. The build seems sturdy and i don’t think it’s going to break anytime soon. I was worried the fan might be loud but i don’t seem to hear it even if i don’t play music in the car. I highly recommend this for people who don’t want to bother with setting up your phone and messing with wires every time you get in the car. It made my trips so much easier and convenient; i just place my phone on top of it, it snaps in place and charging starts right away.

To give you more information, I have this mounted in a 2011 BMW 328i sedan. The power supply plug I am using is 18v, Using the provided USB A to USB C cable provided. The screen shots were taken from an IPhone 12 Pro Max in an Official Apple Silicone MagSafe case. The screen shots were taken right before and right after my commute to work. Note the times: 8:01am (at 43%)- 8:31am (at 57%) In a span of 30 min, my phone charged a total of 14% (43%-57%) no apps were running at the time of this charge. This gives you an idea of how fast this device charges. I have never had a car wireless charger before so I have nothing to compare the charge time with unless I compare it to the official Apple MagSafe charger. Regardless it works At first I was a bit concerned that this will stick my phone out too much away from the dash but in reality it is in a great position. I don’t have to over extend to access my phone nor is it in the way. It held my phone well and I have absolutely no worries of my phone falling. As well absolutely love the look of that LED ring. The noise of the fan goes unnoticed due to regular road noise and if you are listening to music. As far as I am concerned, the fan does it’s job to attempt to cool your phone off while charging. Worked great until it didn’t. Used 2.5 years no issue and yesterday when I went to remove my phone I heard a click and now the mount won’t hold position. I’ve tried disassembling and reassembling to no avail. I don’t see a way to reach out to the company for support. Also very loud. Not a deal breaker for me but if I have to buy a new mount I will probably try to find one where the fan isn’t so loud.

ESR is a really solid company. You can tell by their packaging, the brochures, and their build quality. Unboxing was a pleasure and everything was secure. Think something between like Anker and just below Apple. The brochures advertising the features and the instructions showcase good graphic design. The build quality of the product itself is excellent. The cable it comes with is ESR branded with a barcode attachment and not just some aftermarket or generic cable. Goes to show they probably sell high quality cables themselves. It’s usb a male to usb c which is fast becoming the standard. It came with both a car vent attachment and a genuine 3m high temp tape stand which is my preference as I do not want to risk damaging my car vents and it gives me more options to mount on my console. It does not come with a car adapter which I already have but they recommend a 9v/2a or 12v/2a car adapter to ensure you get fast charge. The cryoboost is essentially a fan that keeps your phone cool which will save your battery long term. The magnet is solid and works with my rhinoshield case on my MagSafe iPhone. I love it.

The way this mounts is decent. I like the magnetic charging. It is not wireless charging as the description says.

Holds a MagSafe phone very well, charges quickly with the right plug. The vent adapter works well, too, but can pull off if your case has a magnet in it like mine. Otherwise no negatives. I prefer the adhesive mount which I think works the best, but my wife didn’t want the adhesive on her new cars dash.

Product looks and feels premium. It holds my iPhone 14 pro max just fine (with a thin plastic non-magnetic cover). I like the cooling fan the most but the sound it produces is a little bit loud especially when not driving. Charging speed is quite fast comparing to other wireless car chargers I owned. I don’t personally like this type of clips that holds the charger so I replaced it with an adjustable hook holder from my previous holder and it surprisingly fits well!!
