I liked how it keeps the food warm and hot, prefect!!

I purchased 2 of these for Christmas Dinner. I have used a hostess trolley which was a wedding present over 44 years ago (which still works perfectly). However i found while this hostess trolley was amazing, once food is placed on the table it cools down. I wanted to keep the food hot on the table. It works very well. Only thing is when serving roast potatoes keep the lid off because they soon become steamed, same issue as the hostess trolley. You can only use the warmer for maximum of 4 hours, but I found that long enough to place on table and keep food hot throughout the meal. I chose this make because the plastic lids can be replaced if they get broken. Very pleased with warmers for the price. Makes it easy for the hostess.

this is a godsend when you have a big dinner to cater for, comes in really handy at Christmas and bbqs in the summer, keeps food really hot , has adjustable heat easy to clean , I put the trays in the dishwasher or they wipe clean really easily by hand , I haven't put the plastic lids in the dishwasher yet I prefer to wash those by hand in case the dishwasher damages them ,

I ordered one of these and a Kingavon one on Amazon. The Tower one was much better quality and got much hotter than the Kingavon one. I returned the Kingavon one and bought a second Tower one. The two of them were more than enough to keep Christmas lunch for 12 warm (excluding the turkey). I have since used one as a hot plate with serving dished for a dinner party. Having read other reviews, I have only handwashed them and the lids have been fine and have not cracked. The frame that supports the supplied dishes is a little sharp in few places, but I haven’t found this to be an issue.

Does a great job at xmas time or when we are having a family dinner

A good plate warmer and hot food dispenser . With 3 trays it is a good size, Please does get very hot so maybe not a good idea to have it sitting on a dinner table. Cable is short, so probable not designed to be in the middle of a table with a lead hanging down to the mains. We have ours sitting on the sideboard. As it uses so, recommended. Update Jan10, 2021. Product has failed after little use since purchase. No longer heats. In contact with Tower customer service for resolution. Pays to take out the 3 year warranty option. D.
