Its a steel Smart Sole Shaft that weighs about 130 grams. It doesn't have a lot of flex to it but really shouldn't since with a chipper you rarely are going to take full swings with it so stability is most important for accurate chip shots. Cleveland does make them with a graphite shaft option as well for those who play graphite shafted irons and want that same vibration dampening properties they get from graphite but even the graphite is pretty stiff as well.
