I love the quality and the smell

This set is REALLY lovely. First, they do not add a ton chemicals or other garbage as so many other body and beauty brands do – even in this day and age. It is pretty darn pure. I like the scents. The lavender I can smell even just by opening the tin – true nice lavender. The grapefruit is also nice and fresh. I am not a fan of actual grapefruit but usually appreciate the essential oil smell. Now as they are scented with essential oils – the scent does not last too long – but that is the nature of real essential oils. It is nicely scented as it is applied, though. Seem like good quality all around.The packaging looks cute but I think could probably be improved. I had no problem with slitting one side of the label on the side of the tin with a knife in order to open. I left the other side of the label attached and it easily lifts open from the one side. BUT the label is not very attractive or anything. It is fine but for gift giving a nicer label would be good. Also, the little tins are REALLY hard to open. I was only able to open one out of the four with my bare hands. All the others – each time I use – I have to use a kitchen grip pad that I use on jars and stuff. Then the tins open easily – but I need that jar pad each time. Also, the butter is very firm – which is expected of really good shea but they either should have included a little spoon like some other sets include OR made the tins differently where the butter stays as a solid and you can open from the other side, lift out, and rub the solid onto your body. They solid is especially great at using on really dry patches like your feet or elbows and stuff too.PS – I have a friend who has used some shea products from this brand throughout her chemo treatments – as chemo REALY dries your skin. She also likes the quality but is not a fan of their tins to use either. : ) But there is a GREAT gift idea – if you know anyone undergoing cancer treatments right now.Enjoy your day! : )

I love this product. I gave one to my sister. When it was finished her boyfriend purchased more for her and he used it as well. It really moisturizes your skin and makes you feel good all over.

I've tried another variant of this product (Mother's Shea, by the same brand) and it didn't agree with me. The butter in this set are far better for me.The butters are not raw, per se, but not refined in a way that they have lost all of the properties of raw Shea butter. The smell is exactly what I would expect of raw Shea butter, except of course for the lavender and grapefruit scents which smell very natural (and the Shea smell is still underneath them).The butters are all smooth in their tins, and did not melt in transit. Each one arrives with a paper cover to hold the product in just in case they melt before arrival. They each moisturize my skin very well and absorbs quickly, leaving me soft but not greasy. They are butters, so application takes more time than a lotion or cream.Eu'genia makes 4 different Shea butter types with various formulations. Below are details on the formulations so you can make the best choice for yourself.1.) The "Mother's Shea" line comes in various fragrances and contains: shea butter (64%), shea oil (20%), apricot oil (7%), sunflower oil (7%), and fragrance (2%)2.) The "Everyday Shea" line comes in 3 varieties:-Unscented: shea butter (82.5%), shea oil (14.5%), moringa oil (0.5%), and baobab oil (0.5%)****PLEASE NOTE that these ingredients are as listed on Eu'genia's site, and there currently appears to be a typo with the percentages as they do not add up to 100% in this case. I believe that there is either 2% more Shea butter or 2% more Shea oil than what is stated.-Grapefruit or Lavender: shea butter (82.5%), shea oil (14.5%), grapefruit/lavender essential oil (2%), moringa oil (0.5%), and baobab oil (0.5%)3.) The "Pregnancy Strength" line also comes in 3 varieties:-Unscented: shea butter (90%), shea oil (6%), moringa oil (1.5%), baobab oil (1.5%)****As with the unscented version of the Everyday Shea line, Eu'genia's site currently has a typo in the ingredients. This time there is 1% missing, and I'm assuming that it's either part of the Shea butter or the Shea oil.-Grapefruit or Lavender: shea butter (90%), shea oil (6%), moringa oil (1.5%), baobab oil (1.5%), and grapefruit/lavender essential oil (1%)4.) The "Dermatological Strength" Shea only comes in unscented and it is 100% Shea butter.
