Really nice insoles, if a bit thick
These insoles are pretty good! I bought them after doing the whole Dr Scholl's insole finder thing on their website, since I planned to go on a vacation where I'd be doing a lot of walking and needed some solid insoles beforehand. These fit the bill perfectly, and provided plenty of support to keep my feet from hurting after long days of walking. The trimming process is relatively easy - you can follow the guidelines, but I found that it's easier to get the right fit if you take your old insoles out, lay them on the back of the new ones, trace the outline with a marker, and cut to size. I would also recommend setting these on top of a cardboard box and using a box cutter to trim them, since scissors seem to chew up the foam a bit when you're trying to cut them. As far as comfort goes, these don't make it feel like you're walking on pillows or anything. They do, however, offer the support you need with a firm plastic arch support thing, as well as two thicker gel pads under the heel and ball of your foot. They have a bit of sink and you can feel the cushion on your feet, but don't expect anything life-changing. They'll keep your feet from hurting after hours of walking or standing, although that might also be dependent on the shoe. I put these in some used Air Max 1s that I fixed up - a comfortable shoe that also looks nice and has plenty of support in the sole. These insoles are about twice as thick as the original ones so you definitely do notice them when you first put them on, but if you lace your shoes a little looser it's not a problem. These might not be a great fit for leather shoes or converse-type shoes, since they won't stretch as easily to accommodate the extra bit of foam. I would also recommend gluing these down if you don't plan to swap the insoles later. I've had Dr Scholl's before and they have a tendency to slip around, especially if you're walking up/down hills often. I used Shoe Goo to glue mine down, and I didn't notice them moving around even a little bit. Just make sure to wear them for a bit after you glue them down so they form a solid, even bond. I've heard that double-sided tape can also work to keep them in place, but I wanted something more permanent. While they aren't anything life-changing, these are affordable and comfortable insoles that can prolong the amount of time that you're standing or walking. Highly recommend if they fit your needs!

Walking in comfort
This morning, I replaced my old insoles, and they have proven to be very comfortable for walking in my neighborhood. I have already completed 10,000 steps and am feeling great.

A Solid Upgrade for Tired Feet, Especially if You're on Them All Day
I bought the Dr. Scholl’s Sport Insoles because I was dealing with foot fatigue after long days of walking, standing, and wearing shoes that had pretty basic factory insoles. I wasn’t expecting miracles, but I wanted better cushioning, more support, and less soreness in my feet and knees by the end of the day. Overall, these mostly delivered on that. The biggest difference I noticed was the extra shock absorption. The insoles have a combination of cushioning and arch support that makes athletic shoes feel more comfortable, especially on hard floors. Dr. Scholl’s markets them as helping reduce stress on the feet, knees, and lower back, and many customer reviews mention reduced fatigue during long work shifts, sports, walking, and standing. One thing I liked is that they are trim-to-fit. The sizing covers men’s sizes 8–14, and the cut lines are easy to follow. Several buyers specifically mention that installation is simple and that the insoles fit well after trimming. In real-world use, I think these work best for people who spend a lot of time on their feet—teachers, nurses, warehouse workers, retail employees, travelers, or anyone who walks long distances. Many users report that their feet feel less tired after long shifts or extended walking sessions. Some reviewers with flat feet or foot pain also reported noticeable relief. That said, they are not perfect. A recurring criticism is that the support feels too firm for some people. A few users felt an uncomfortable lump or pressure area under the arch or middle of the foot, while others felt the cushioning was not substantial enough to justify the price. If your shoes already fit tightly, these can also make them feel slightly snug because of the added thickness. Another thing worth mentioning is that these are general-purpose sport insoles, not custom orthotics. If someone has significant foot problems, plantar fasciitis, or specific biomechanical issues, they may still need something more specialized. Several reviewers loved them, while others felt little difference compared to their original shoe insoles. For me, the value is reasonable. They are much cheaper than custom inserts and can extend the life and comfort of shoes that have worn-out factory insoles. They met my expectations as an affordable comfort upgrade rather than a medical solution.

Not enough support so I put the old ones back in.
Didn't get the support that was expected. Comfortable but not much cushion of arch support. Insole that came in Converse All Stars had more cushion and support.

Excellent support for Pickleball
I started playing pickleball about 10 months ago. I got into it big time and finally bought pickleball shoes, recommended good quality ones. I already have flat feet and I noticed my feet really hurting after each time I played. I bought these insoles hoping to get relief. The first couple of sessions of play left my feet aching, but differently. My feet were adjusting. Now, I won’t go without them! The difference is fantastic! I highly recommend these and I will be using them again in a couple of months to swap out after lots of use.

Exceeded expectations without a doubt
I bought this product as a leaf of faith to make my road running easier. I am by no means a professional runner but took it up over last few years to run 1 -2 times a week around 5K. I bought all types of professional branded shoes as experimented on improving performance. Funny enough i bought a pair of cheap walking shoes from Primark which were extremely light, padded and comfortable so thought to use them on a run. The results were better than expected with a very slight feeling of shock so I bought this additional padding and the feeling is just as good or better than my branded shoes!! I've edged up to 10K now and I've gone on 15 runs and quality is still there. Just goes to show you don't need to spend loads of $$$ to get a good running shoe so very pleasant surprise.
