Q: Why hasn't anyone from Aquatix responded to the complaints posted on Amazon?

Your question is on the mark, but has to be sent to Amazon that is promoting this poor product. As the complaints verify, my pole ALSO bent the first time I took the skimmer net out of the water, it literally bending in half. I have a pole at least 10 years old that has never bent, buying this second one so my wife could help me skim the pool water for leaves and debris. I took out the middle bent and put the two ends together to make it stronger. But by being shorter, it really is useless. The manufacturer had to know the product was defective. If not they need to get out of the business and Amazon needs to consider not carrying their product, as pool season approaches next month.

Don’t buy it because it doesn’t work. The pole doesn’t stay extended when the sections are tightened.

Q: The pole i received (45 days ago) no longer telescopes. no matter how hard we tighten, the pole slips. who do i contact for replacement?

You need the plastic lock o-ring that is either broken or missing. It compresses on the pole when the nut is tightened down.
