I am not an expert in homeopathy, but the best explanation I have heard is that yes, the ingredients are toxic but in such minute amounts that rather than triggering a reaction, the body's own defenses are activated. It is the same principle as a vaccine. From the time he was a child, my husband would break out with severe poison ivy rashes multiple times a year, even in the winter with no known exposure. He no longer gets poison ivy after taking a 6 wk course of Oral Ivy 10 years ago. I don't know how it works, but it works.

Yes, it takes at least a week, I Take 4 tabs 4 times a day. Flat growths take longer.
