Matte Black M10 Threaded Extension Rod for Pendant Light, Island Lighting, Chandeliers,Lighting Fixture downrods & Stems,12 Inches

I bought a fixture that did not include enough down rods to get from my cathedral ceiling mounting point down to the right level over the dining room table. I had to buy longer rods. I also had to buy longer wires. The inside diameter of the down rods is large enough for 18 gauge wires plus ground. 18 gauge wire matched the original wire that was included with the fixture.

I wanted my 6 hanging outdoor lights to be windproof so I replaced each chain with two of these rods. They look great and stay put when it’s windy.

Sturdy product that gives you a lot of flexibility with the length you need. Easy to install and works nicely on a sloped ceiling.Very happy with the design, functionality, and price.

They fit perfectly. Matched the extension rods that came with the lights we purchased.

We had bought this to extend a light fixture in our dining areas. We bought our first fixture and these ended up being a bit smaller than the light fixture rods, which were more heavy duty and a true measurement. We couldn't use them. Now we just purchased the second light fixture and same thing. The metal is just too thin and not a true M10 rod. I would look elsewhere for the correct size rod.

These extensions were exactly what we needed to lower a chandelier that's mounted on a high ceiling. Unfortunately the pieces are really wobbly once everything is assembled. I may take the fixture down and try wrapping the threads in teflon tape to get a firmer fit.
