Good Entry Level Headphone
A solid entry-level wireless headphone that punches above its price point. The sound is clean and balanced — true to Audio-Technica’s studio-monitor heritage — making them great for both casual listening and critical audio. Bluetooth connectivity is reliable, and the 60-hour battery life is genuinely impressive. The all-black design is understated and professional-looking. They’re not the most feature-rich option at this price, lacking active noise cancellation, but for pure sound quality and endurance, the ATH-M20xBT is hard to argue with.

Wonderful Product
This is a wonderful product for those looking not having to choose between wireless and wired. Although lower in price than other models the audio quality is upstanding and noise cancellation works incredibly well. The cord is long enough; it could be replaced by other longer in case of need. These headphones are not as portable as it might seems, the do not sit that comfy on the neck so most likely will have to be transported on a handbag or backpack always fearing to breaking them as they might me more fragile than other models. The mic is strangely placed but it works for calls on a not so noisy space.

Still going fairly strong after 3 years
Very good quality for the price overall, I’ve had these for almost three years and I still use them almost daily. Battery lasts a very very long time on a full charge, especially when you first get it. Sound is a little better when using the cord. Very comfortable and lightweight. I’ve had to replace the soft covers for the headphones because they started to flake and smell from sweat, but this was a relatively inexpensive replacement. The only flaw I’m now facing is there is a very noticeable delay in the audio when using Bluetooth, so if you’re watching a video the audio will be slightly delayed and not match the video. This obviously is not much of a problem if you’re just using these to listen to music or just use the cord to watch videos. Overall, very affordable and high quality option that I have recommended to many people.

Long battery life, great design, very snug fit, punchy bass
I do music production and also general listening. After using this BT headset I have to say I am very impressed by the battery life as it can hold an entire session of production (few hours, 6 or more and for numerous days) without getting a low battery notification - After couple weeks I got my first low battery so you probably dont need to have this parked on the usb charger for many times in a month. That is the mark of a true BT studio headphone for me and reason why I'd recommend it for just that purpose. The bass quality is actually very noticeable but not overbearing where mid and highs would be flattened out. However it is very punchy bass without "breaking in" out of the box. Any low-lows will be noticeable if you need to work on a bassline sequence in Ableton or an alternate program. The charging time itself from low to full, is at least a couple of hours which is acceptable. Quality build is very high. Fit-wise it is very snug to the ears and buttons are on the left side, which some people may find to have a learning curve (not a high one). Easy to press rectangle style buttons. I haven't used it to gym or cardio with but they aren't heavy enough to where they would fall, I think the JBL TUNE 500s are made for that, because they are feather weight "light" and do a great job cancelling treadmill noise. Im sure these would do the job fine at the gym, they aren't bulky. They do come with a cord in case you want to use without the internal battery, so that's a neat feature. Overall latest BT specs and long battery Im sure these would do the job for a long time, they are my go to, audio feels twice that for the price so it almost feels like a bargain but they probably sound like $150 phones. Ive had the Monster Inspirations which have a similar price tag but they are 4x as heavy and audio signature is similar but wireless and way more utility. I highly recommend them.

Great value headphones
For the cost, you'd be hard pressed to find better sounding headphones. These are close to being studio monitors, with the convenience of wireless features. These headphones do a good job of separating instruments in tracks and provide a better soundstage than I expected for this price. They are a touch, and I mean barely, warm. Meaning, they are mostly neutral as you would expect from a studio headphone, with the slightest bump in the lower end. Sub bass isn't really present, but I appreciate the modest punch in the low end. Keep in mind, these are not noise cancelling headphones. I find the ear pads fit my average sized head, and smaller ears really well. The seal they create helps block out some ambient sounds on their own. When I'm doing chores around the house and pumping some tunes, I really don't hear anything but the music. I even took these out in public once to get my tires changed. I could not hear the sounds of the storefront or the shop, even as I sat writing at the bar by the shop window. I was able to lose myself in the music and my writing without any problems. I don't find there is much sound leakage as these are closed back, but I also don't listen to my music at excessive levels (~75% at most). The one problem I have with them so far is the fact that the earcups do not swivel much, and thus cannot fold completely flat for travel. I would have also liked to see a cheap case or bag come with this product to help in transporting them. I have purchased the WS990 BT in the past which came with a leather bag that I still use when traveling. I will likely continue to use that pair for work travel, rather than the M20X. One concern I have for the long run is their build quality. They are mostly plastic with an aluminum band for extending the earcups. Being constructed as such, they are very lightweight. On one hand, this adds to the comfort of the headphones as I forget I'm wearing them sometimes due to their featherweight and light clamping force. However, I worry that these could be broken if I decide to toss them into a backpack and take them out more often. With the light clamping force I find that I can shake them loose if I shake my head side to side rapidly. While I don't do that often, I think that anyone looking for a headphone to wear while exercising should look elsewhere, or consider finding a different ear pad that provides more grip than the provided pleather set. For me, these will likely be relegated to around the house wear, when I don't want to be strapped to my computer desk by my R70Xs. I'm perfectly okay with that as I do really enjoy the sound these produce for the money and the comfort they provide. I think they punch above their price in the audio department and are an excellent option for someone looking for a good, reliable headphone for casual wear.

Audio Technica will not be able to sell their higher end headphones after this release
I'll save most of you the trouble of reading through my ramblings. For $79 or lower, these M20xBT's cannot be beat. Clear AT sound with slightly more bass. Not neutral like the M50's, but a more consumer sound profile. I have been a fan of Audio Technica for decades and have been in the market for a set of BT over-ear headphones to use at work. Due to the lackluster reviews online, I went with some cheap knockoff brands for a while. The knockoffs had decent bass without seeming too fake, weak mids, but decent highs. I do not expect too much for BT headphones so was fairly satisfied. I recently went to Japan and because of the respect they have for each other in society, the big box electronic stores have many, many headphones out for demo. They even have disposable sleeves if you want to try out earbuds, though they continue to have those behind the counter. So I was standing in front of a display with close to 100 headphones all charged and ready to be connected via BT or wire. I have been eyeing the AT WS990BT Solid Bass for a while now since I know when they think bass, AT does not mean the kind of bass like the 12" JL W7 in my trunk. I did not have time to play with the EQ on my phone and I used Spotify to recreate my work environment. The sound was weak. Completely not what I was expecting from a headphone with "Solid Bass" in its name. Since these are BT, they will not be connected to an amp so that is all there is. I then tried the WS660BT and ANC700BT and did not like either one. The USD was at its peak against the JPY when I was there so the WS990 were super cheap and I wanted to keep browsing, but decided to go drinking instead. I started seeing reviews for the M20xBT AFTER I got back from Japan. I stayed away from the M50xBT because I know what the wired M50's sound like and it was not what I wanted at work. I listen to mostly indie/EDM/hip hop/80's at work and rarely switch to classical or singer/songwriter. I saw one review on the M20's about a little bit stronger bass with a "V" sound profile. Sold! Even if you never played with an EQ before, you will immediately understand what a "V" profile means when you put these on. Clean and decent lows and bright highs. The mids are not missing, just not as as strong as the highs and lows. Peter Hook's basslines sound just fine on these. So does Masta Ace "Born to Roll". Also Satie and Liszt. Give these headphones a shot. They are inexpensive and should meet the needs of most consumers. Definitely a better buy than anything from Bose or Sony, unless you absolutely must have Active Noise Cancelling. The M20's are good enough to block out almost all office noises. Almost forgot to mention I did change out the earcups as I do with all my over the ear headphones. I went with GVOears this time and was impressed. Slightly less than Brainwavz, but I like the material that touches my skin much more than velour.

Reviews and appearances are not indicators of performance
Purchased these as a gift for my wife. Just another example of "don't trust the reviews on Amazon". The ATH-M20xBTWH headphones are great looking, comfortable for me, and the battery seems adequate. For my wife though, the intended recipient, they would not adjust small enough to fit properly. This created a situation where the headphones were constantly pulling on her ears. Connection to BT was easy as is most BT gear. Now the bad. When it comes to why you want headphones, listening to music, they fall short very quickly. The sound quality was very lack luster. Almost harsh. My tastes are pretty diverse so I tried several different genres all with the same results. The highs were somewhat tinny. Bass response was basically non existent. To the extent that when there was any all that was heard was terrible distortion. The output level was also very disappointing. I know these are not noise cancelling but I've had some 20 dollar sets that had much better sound quality and performance. I really wanted to like these but was immediately disappointed. If they were 20 bucks maybe. But at 90 they could have done much better.

Audio-Technica ATH-M20xBT Wireless Over-Ear Headphones
First let me say I am a Vine reviewer but I bought these as a lightweight, long lasting, battery powered headset. There are 2 sets of reviews on this page. 1 for Bluetooth and 1 for wired. I will say right now don't buy these for wireless, they are literally horrible sounding. When these are used on Bluetooth the sound goes down the drain. As wired they are fantastic sounding, but the second you hook them up to Bluetooth the quality drops from from studio quality, to tape recorder quality. I have no idea why. I tried them on 3 different PC's and all did the same thing. I tried them on a Apple iPhone and on my Samsung Galaxy and it was the same issue. I gave these 3 stars, but only as a wireless headset. When you wire these to a 3.5mm jack they rival my Sennheiser HD's, but I get tired of a wire at times, so I wanted to give these a try. As a wired headset everything is great, but when on Bluetooth, the sound has cracks you can hear, the volume is reduced to about 60%, just a bad experience and sound. Bass is barely there, and treble is more monotone then vibrant. Even using a EQ would not fix this. If your wanting a wired headset, hey these sound great and lightweight, A bit more clamping pressure than I would like, but that can be stretched into any headset. The build quality? They were obviously going for lightweight in that area, but if you don't toss these about I would say it wouldn't be an issue. Pretty comfortable and light for an adult head. Design is good, but that is where it stops. Save some money and buy the wired versions not the BT ones. These will have to be returned and I hate returning anything.

bought as a gift for my sister, who loves them a lot
I've heard nothing but positive things about these headphones from the gift recipient, mainly about how long the battery lasts! She doesnt use them often or for long times but hasn't charged them in months and they still have half a charge! They are very comfortable when they have been worn for longer periods, they were used on a long plane trip and there was no discomfort. Can't speak to sound quality too much, as she has never had any good headphones before these. She does say it sounds great though, and from the few seconds I've tried them out, they were definitely not bad!

Decent price and quality sound
Clear and crisp sound, good distinction and transition between different sounds. Long battery life. I like the sound setup, its relaxing and not intense, making it easier to listen for extended periods, but this varies from person to person what they like.

Áudio excelente, bom conforto, simples e bonito.
