Hilarity ensues, the demon slayer has arrived
This reader had the delight to read Angie Fox's first biker witch mystery, "The Accidental Demon Slayer" a while ago, and just finished book five of the series, "My Big Fat Demon Slayer Wedding" - it should be mentioned I have not read books two through four, however. The characters are still their rowdy selves, with enough detail given that a reader can easily visualize and empathize with and for them, without going back to previous books. Fox maintains her lively, fun and inviting storytelling voice in this book, the same voice that captivated this reader back on book one. Note to self, I really need to purchase the missing books for some laugh out loud entertainment. The mystery was excellent, even though this reader had it partially figured out early on. Why? Because the path to the solution was so darn fun to follow! The setting was absolutely spectacular and this reader struggled to figure out if she wanted to live there, or was creeped out by the darkness of the place... and will admit she shuddered at each mention of spiders. The wedding dress gift given by the griffins to protagonist Lizzie had this reader rolling as she pictured not only Lizzie wearing the gown, but the look on snooty adoptive mom Hillary's face as she looked on. Griffin shifter and romantic lead Dimitri was adorable running from the estrogen packed rooms, even though he is still a strong, masculine, sexy - drool-worthy - protective male. Who can blame him, with so many females creating wedding favors? And each character was unique as their authenticity shined through in their believable dialogue, as well. This was an action packed, thrilling ride that kept this reader in stitches, waiting for the next disaster to fall. I recall I had a favorite character in book one - Grandma Gertie - but was hard pressed to say I had a favorite in this book. They were all terrific, all lovable in their own way, and each played well off of one another. This reader was so wrapped up in the storyline and descriptions, she cannot recall if there were any grammar, punctuation or spelling issues in the tale, and truly hated to leave the world Fox created. I highly recommend this book for a very fun and entertaining read.

Wonderful ending
Well almost ending anyway. This story was well written and full of fun. My only complaint is the never ending action. There was never anywhere to safely stop, haha. Work definitely got in the way of my reading. Thank you

Fun Read.......
I love Angie's books, just exciting and funny reads they all are. We have Lizzie Brown, a young demon slayer who is marrying her lover Dimitri a shape-shifting Griffen. Her talking dog, crazy biker witches, and invisible dragon called Flappy, and finally her irate mortal, adopted mother Hilary, who knows nothing about Lizzie true life. I bellowed out laughing quite a bit reading this book. and enjoyed it immensely. Angie's books have wonderful sense of feel good humor, with a little bit of serious message added in to make it feel real, and really human. I have grown quite fond of all these characters in this series, and I hope that she continues with these books. I wasn't sure about Hilary, at first, but after she found out all about Lizzie and her crazy world, she turned into a real trooper and actually helped Lizzie and the others out. Can't wait for the next book in this wonderful series. Please, Angie continue on with this series. Can't wait for Lizzie and Dimitri to have a baby in this series. What a crazy time that will be. If your are looking for humorous funny supernatural read pick up this series. I just know that you will be laughing all the way thru this 5 book series. But I would start with the first book, because you will really miss the story by not doing so. You have a reading fan for life Angie. Love your books.

Talk about your hellish mother of the bride!
Lizzie and Dimitri are ready to tie the knot. Unfortunately, things are not going as planned! Lizzie's adoptive Mother wants to make this an event to remember. Unfortunately her perfectly planned schedule of events and expectations of Lizzie to not quite go as planned when the evil Earl of Hell decides to seek his revenge. Lizzie has yet to tell her parents about her demon slayer status, her grandmother's biker gang coven of witches or the fact her beloved is a griffin. Talk about all hell breaking loose! Lizzie has to fight to save her wedding day with the help of a tortured ghost bride held captive for over a century. This was one of the best yet!!! We have been waiting for Lizzy and Dimitri to marry. I feel like I should send a wedding gift!! We get to know Lizzie's adoptive Mother in this book. All of our cast of characters are on hand, including the Griffins from Greece and the country club set from home. Angie Fox writes books you will not want to put down! The story lines remain original and each book reveals more personalities and laugh out load adventures!! This would be an amazing movie! Love it so much!!

Another good one
Planning a wedding is hard work, but when you're dealing with a controlling parent, crazy biker witches, and a demon? Things get downright impossible for Lizzie to manage. I am so glad her and Dimitri were on better footing for most of this one. Lizzie can drive me crazy, but I actually liked her more in this one since the beginning of the series. And unlike previous books, I was right there with her when it came to figuring a few this out. What I'm not quite clear on are: 1) how did they manage to touch the necklace if only Dimitri and Lizzie can? 2) was the possession only part of the time or was it really so slow that it took until the end for them to be under the demon's control? Everyone acted nearly normal, at least for them so that was a little confusing.Overall, a typical day in a slayer's life indeed. I'm just happy her and Dimitri did get married and that she finally accepted the deeper bonding.

Big Fat Demon Slayer Wedding
All Lizzie wants is to marry her griffin fiance in a simple ceremony. But bringing together her society-darling mother, witchy grandma and her biker clan, plus Dimitri's extended Greek family, there's bound to be chaos. This was the first book I've read by Fox, after downloading the book for free last month.Yes, I realise it is the middle of the series, but I thought I'd jump in and give it a go.The story is pretty easy to pick up, and I was soon immersed in the fun of Lizzie and Dimitri's wedding. After Lizzie hands over the wedding details to her control-freak mother (who coincidentally doesn't know she's a demon slayer, or that witches and griffins exist); and Dimitri's newly-extended family unexpectedly turns up at the venue; everything gets hysterical. Then there are the coven of harley-riding, swearing, leather-wearing, pensioner witches. Who like to change tea into alcohol, when the mood takes them. It's already an awesome, and amusing mix, when suddenly not everything is as innocent as it appears. A demon, or demonic force, is intent on ruining Lizzie's wedding, and perhaps more.Which means Lizzie has to juggle keeping everyone happy, finding out what danger they're in, and getting married to the man she loves.I really enjoyed this story, it's light-hearted and fun. Being the middle of an established series, the characters all felt really strong. This was a really nice paranormal mystery.

I hope it's not the last in the series!
Fabulous, I have loved all of these books and each one has been even better than the last!We really see lizzie come into her own and finally she has realised that she has a family and people that love her and make her a stronger person! It's been an emotional journey.Dimitri oh my, please tell me there is a Dimitri shaped mould somewhere and that someone has started up a production line, I mean just how much swoon worthiness can one man (or sexy shapeshifting griffin) contain? It was good to finally meet people from Lizzie's pre demon slayer life and lovely to see them accept her new life even if it was a little reluctantly at first, especially after the knock back from her biological father in the last book.As always there is guaranteed hilarity whenever the biker witches, Pirate and Flappy are in tow and this book is no exception.I really hope this isn't the last book in the series but if it is then it is indeed the perfect ending to what has been a fabulous journey!

My Big Fat Demon Slayer Wedding
And what a wedding! If you think yours is chaotic, controlled by others and that relatives are a pain.. Well you haven't seen anything yet, read the book and be glad that you are not an accidental demon slayer. In the last book we met Lizzie's father - well if you could call the toad that! and in the book previous we meet her biological mother - who was also not much of a loss. In this book we meet her adoptive Mum and Dad- hold onto your hats! A Very good read!

Will she get the chance to say "I do"?
Wow! Action, fast paced and funny. A wedding should be a happy occasion but not if someone is out to kill you before you say "I do". Who is behind the plot to kill her? A classroom of children was never as hard to control as the people attending her wedding. Loved it. If you felt frazzled by your wedding day - imagin her feelings.

demon slayer series
The entire series is extremely well written with a wry sense of humour. Characters leap off the pages and come to life. The closest comparison is a Angie Fox is a female Terry Prachett. I enjoyed the story line and the little twists along the way. I'd recommend the book to anyone with a people based sense of humour who want an east reading well written story. Do start at the beginning of the series though!
