So easy to make, you’ll have a snack in minutes, no mess
This is a great popcorn popper, very easy to use and clean. You pop the kernels without oil, so you can just rinse and let it air dry. No mess! The popper collapses for easy storage. Here’s a photo of it in my cupboard. Everybody’s microwave is different, I set my time to 5 minutes and just listen till the popping slows down, usually about 3-1/2 mins. After I put it in a bowl I use butter spray and assorted flavor toppings. It makes 10 cups of popcorn. I usually have about 4 or 5 unpopped kernels. Really really good healthy popcorn! You should try it

Life-changing for a Popcorn Aficionado
I love this bowl. I'm a self-admitted popcorn snob. I use ACTUAL movie theater buttered oils and salt (Butter-Flav'd Soybean and Flavacol) to make DEAD ON movie theater popcorn (no "STYLE" about it... it's the REAL stuff). Until this, I used a countertop wire-spin popper from Dash and also one from Cuisinart with a dishwashable hotplate, but both of those poppers have sat unused since I got this one. It can't manage the volume of the machines, but when making popcorn for 1-4 people, it does really well without the extra setup of dragging out and cleaning up the machines. It's also faster needing only 2:10 in my 1100w Panasonic Inverter microwave (The best, BTW!) to pop about 1/2 cup of quality kernels like Orville or Pop Secret. Boutique kernels take a bit longer or burn in a microwave so you might want to pass on anything except good-ol' regular popping corn. The collapsible silicone bowl is really efficient to store, and super easy to clean, with residues just about wiping out with hot water and Dawn (absolute best for grease! They use it on oil spills for a reason!). I've noticed only a VERY minor bit or staining from the yellow coloring in the buttered oil, but nothing to really upset me. I just wanted to point it out. Does not affect use or effectiveness one bit! This is a cost-effective substitute for the ease of microwave corn with the ability to control everything about your popping experience, unlike bagged microwave popcorn. Just spend the money.

great product
Excellent popcorn. The key is to stop the popping when it slows. It took only 2 minutes using 2 tablespoons of corn for my 1200 watt microwave. Popped up tender and delicious. So much easier than using my stove top and a much better result.

Beautiful Simplicity
Thanks to this wonderful corn popper I no longer have to purchase concentrator cups for my Orville Redenbacher corn popper. I accidentally entered an extra 0 on my cook time once and the lid warped beyond use. I replaced it and now enter 401 as the cook time. My fault.

Works great - but use less time
Fabulous! Two tips: 1) Make sure your popcorn is not old. My first batch turned out bad, but then I realized the popcorn was expired. 2) Use FAR less time than recommended in instructions. Treat your first few batches as experiments and stop the microwave when popping slows. For my microwave, the perfect time is 2 minutes 10 seconds for 1/3 C of popcorn. There is no burning, and few unpopped kernels.

Perfectly simple popcorn maker!
Can't believe I almost didn't get this because of some bad reviews I read. First I have to say, I love popcorn, but I cannot eat the bagged microwave stuff. I cook my popcorn in a pot on the stove. I have tried the cute machine with the turn handle and the air popper, but I always go back to the pot/stove method. I have tried one other microwave bowl in the past, but it just did not deliver. I searched for a better way and found this on a review site. Decided that if I could find it in Amazon with good reviews, I would try it out. After reading the reviews, I decided that I would try it anyways. So glad that I did. Expecting to have burnt popcorn at least the first try, I warned my husband. I read all (half a page worth) of the instructions. Washed the bowl and lid, dried them, got my kernels and measuring spoons, and braced myself... I measured out the kernels, put the lid on the bowl, and set the microwave for the recomended time. I stood close by to listen for the popping. After 2 minutes, the popping slowed, I took the bowl out expecting either a bunch of unpopped kernels or burnt popcorn... I got neither. There were a few kernels, probably because I jumped the gun on the popping, but it was otherwise perfect. I cleaned it, and made another. This time 2min 15sec. No burnt popcorn, no unpopped kernels. I have been using this bowl ever since for the past 3 and a half months at least twice a week. Every so often I will get a few unpopped kernels, but it has yet to burn my popcorn. It is incredibly easy to use, easy to clean and the flavor of the popcorn is the closest I have gotten to pot/stove. It is crisp and fluffy, perfect. Just toss with some butter/oil, salt, or furikake and you are good to go!

Don't be swayed by the name! EDIT: Cannot be returned.
What a dud. We cleaned the unit as directed. Put a scant 1/4 cup of brand name (O.R.) popcorn and a small splash of the O.R. oil into the bowl. Put on the lid as directed and stuck it in my Kitchenaid built-in unit. Four minutes and we finally took it out despite virtually NO popping. Eighteen kernels popped out of 1/4 cup of expensive kernels. The unpopped stuff did not burn...they just sat there. Tried this three more times after cooling and wiping out the bowl as directed. LESS popped kernels. Took this thing over to a neighbor and tried it all over again in their microwave...using different, cheaper popcorn. NO CHANGE. Tried the neighbors on the other side and got the SAME results. Everyone was shocked that this was such a big name brand item. Evidently not for this gizmo. Going to carefully clean this up...no burning, no smell (almost no anything) and send it back to Amazon for a refund. This is ridiculous! Worthless piece of plastic. What a shame.

Every microwave is variable , so start off testing how long yours needs to pop corn , my first batch was a little burnt at 2min 30 :: 2 min 20 and it’s perfect Stores well too , I’m thinking of getting another for my workplace , healthy arvo snack
