Saw the idea from another sourdough baker to get a cake stand and my bread has never been happier! It keeps it from drying out and easily accessible, plus its pretty to look at. I have not used it as a dipping tray yet but love the options. I also like that it has an acrylic piece that goes on the base to keep moisture away from the wood. Buy ASAP if you do sourdough!

Actually better than I thought, super cute. My old one was heavy and glass so it eventually shattered due to a clumsy boy. This is also better because you can use it two different ways. Big upgrade for cheaper.

I love this cake stand. I use it all the time when I make cupcakes, and it always looks so pretty on the counter or table. It feels like such a nice piece to have, both useful and decorative. I haven’t had the chance to use the other side yet, but I’m really excited to try it.

Nice, but not dishwasher safe. When we bought it the listing said the lid was glass, but they’ve since changed it. It’s an okay product if you don’t mind handwashing it all the time. Update: Seller reached out and issued a refund to remedy my experience...what customer service! I've bumped my review to 4* because the product is nice if you go in knowing it's acrylic and not dishwasher safe.

Beautiful cake stand and cleans easy.

This is so convenient to have I use it a lot for cheese and crackers, and turn it around and use it for cake. I love it.

Cake stand is beautifully made but found the wood has a lot of white grain resulting in approx 1/3 with large white grain stripes. This effect I found made it not look a good as a more uniform coloured wood plate would have been. I purchased this as part of a wedding gift but felt it was not worthy of it so had to purchase something else which was a little disappointing. Purchase said was from Australia but was from China and took considerable time to arrive.

Colour and quality of the acacia wood is excellent. Cover looks like glass but is acrylic and so not heavy at all. The stand can also be flipped over for use. See pictures.

Beautiful cake stand and great quality! The wood did not look "dry" and love the dual use of the stand.

Wood is beautiful, handy acrylic base to prevent stand from getting scratched. However given price was shocked when upon first hand wash in cool soapy water the top of the lid fell off. At first thought it was meant to but nope, it broke off. Hadn’t even scrubbed or put any pressure on it.
