The Extraordinary Adventures Of Arsène Lupin, Gentleman-Burglar

Lo obsequié y quedo encantado

Great story. I'm hooked. I will get entire set. My only PROBLEM is the format of THIS publication. That is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. The print is so small and the margins of the pages are only 1/4 inch. The margins run to the very center of the binding and is difficult to read. The pages are so wide, and with tiny margins, it makes reading very difficult.

Anyone who loves classic mysteries should read some of the Arsene Lupin stories. Written around the same time as the Sherlock Holmes stories, these tales of a French detective are a delight.

I first saw the movie, loved it. This made me look for the book, I love reading!

I didn’t know what to expect since so many reviews claimed that the book quality was poor as well as the print but it seems to be just fine to me no different than any other book. I uploaded a video for the person that’s not sure what to believe can have a their own judgment.

print SMALL making it difficult to read. Aslow read

I started watching the Netflix series Arsene Lupin which is what got me interested in the books. Im super excited to read this 1st book. I'm giving 4 stars bc of how the pages are printed. I'm not sure if it's on purpose but there is no separation between the Content page and each chapter. It all just runs together. I'm all for using paper wisely, just doesn't look like the book printed correctly.

This is a neat little gift! Nice quality. Great stories!

Très étrange mise en page, du coup assez difficile à lire Very strange présentation of the text Hard to read

La qualité en plastique dur n’est vraiment pas bonne pour une couverture de livre. Ça choque dans ma bibliothèque. Les pages, en tant que telles, sont agréables au toucher et faciles à tourner

Very good quality book

Enjoyed the book to gain a better understanding of the TV series LUPIN

I recently embarked on a journey through the captivating world of "The Extraordinary Adventures of Arsène Lupin, Gentleman-Burglar," and I must say, it was an absolute delight! Maurice Leblanc's creation, Arsène Lupin, is a character for the ages - a charming rogue with a penchant for the extraordinary. From the very first page, I was drawn into Lupin's world of high-stakes heists, clever disguises, and ingenious schemes. Leblanc's storytelling is nothing short of exceptional, weaving together intricate plots that kept me eagerly turning the pages. What truly sets this book apart is Lupin himself. His complex character, a blend of audacity and suavity, makes him utterly fascinating. It's impossible not to root for this "gentleman-burglar" as he outwits his adversaries at every turn. The pacing is spot on, with each adventure leaving me wanting more. Leblanc's writing style is elegant and engaging, which is expertly translated into English in this edition. The translation preserves the charm and wit of the original French text, making it accessible to a wider audience. "The Extraordinary Adventures of Arsène Lupin, Gentleman-Burglar" is a classic that deserves a place on every bookshelf. Whether you're a fan of mystery, adventure, or simply appreciate a well-crafted story, this book is a must-read.
