It's a game changer - dealing with fireplace ash used to be such a pain....this neat unit makes everything so much easier. It is easily stored by the fire place and holds an improbable amount of ash before needing to be emptied....and when it is finally full we can take it outside to empty without getting a face full of ash courtesy of winter winds..!

It is flimsy and has sharp edges but if you are careful it works. Mine lives outside for ash can to be emptied into and apart for the fact the the handle pops out occasionally its better than a bucket.

Lid didnt quite close properly when arrived.Handle bent and fel off after a few weeks..Sturdy bucket. Great size and value for money.

This is a brilliant item for emptying the ash from the log burner. Before it was always a hassle trying to get the ash to roll down the ash pan into the bucket, which meant some dropped over the side and made a right mess. Now we just lift the ash pan out and slide it into the pan bucket and the ash is emptied easily with very little mess now. Game changer as it used to be a hassle job but now it is so easy.

Product not fit for purpose, when returned I was charged for postage £4.17 -so I have lost out by no fault of my own !The ash collecting box had a hole in the bottom left corner, if you filled it with ashes it would come out all over your carpet. Good job I noticed it before I went to use it. The product was not damaged but miss manufactured leaving a hole in the bottom. You would have that there would be some sort of quality control. Poor quality!

This ash carrier is made well and good quality. I would recommend it.

Do not buy this!! I’m not exaggerating when I say this box is rubbish. The hinges are rusted and seizing up. The handle has broken and all metal edges are unfinished and sharp. I can’t think of any redeeming factors about this item. How it’s been passed for safety I don’t know.

This has been a real blessing as it was such a pain to empty the tray into the bin and ash fly everywhere. It holds lots of ash so it makes it much more convenient and mess free, love it!!!
