Set it up properly and you will get a long battery life. We bought 1 to try and with some changes to settings, estimate 7-8 weeks of battery life before a charge. Probably charge at 6 weeks so we have full functionality. Quality is excellent, detects people with packages, unfamiliar faces if you subscribe to Nest aware. I turned off vehicle detection and lowered the sensitivity so it is not telling me every time someone walks down the road. Be mindful installing it near your outdoor lights as it may make night visibility had with glare. We will get another 1 or 2.

The item freezed .i tried to reset according to the troubleshooting BUT it didn't work.i have only used it for 1 month

I love my nest doorbell! We recently purchased this doorbell after having vivint. We loved vivint but we didn’t love their prices! I will say the camera quality of the Google nest is actually really good! You can zoom in and out, you can speak to people through the doorbell, it records motion & also keeps track of your deliveries and packages! The battery life is not bad at all especially for being battery operated! We charge our battery once every 3-4 weeks which is honestly really good! It provides really good night vision and super easy set up! Plus there are no hidden fees, no app fees and no weekly bills! It connects to your cell phone with Bluetooth & WiFi and overall just a great deal. After my mom saw mine, she ordered one for her house! ADT security uses the same cameras and they mark up the prices to install them.

The video quality is impressive, with a tall field of view that captures visitors from head to toe, even packages on the ground. Night vision is clear, and the notifications are timely without being overly sensitive. Battery life has been solid — we’ve been getting around three months per charge with standard settings. One of the underrated perks is how well it blends in — the Ash colour is modern and subtle, and the design overall looks premium without drawing too much attention. My only (slightly funny) gripe? My wife isn’t a fan because it’s made it harder to sneak in online deliveries without being caught — I get a ping every time a courier approaches the door. Overall, a great investment if you’re looking to boost home security and convenience. Definitely recommend.
