I found this to be very easy once I had followed the U-tube guidance to give confidence. Picked a nice sunny day and laid everything out. All went very well. Used a connector from Powerful (a U-tube site specialising in Landrover add ons). Would recommend watching a video first to help.

Exceptional product, clear installation guide and works without fault.

This basically does what it’s supposed to. I had an auto electrician install it for me to hard wire my Viofo A229 Plus into my Audi Q3. It mostly works. Sometimes the camera refuses to go into parking mode. No idea why. It comes on when I turn on the ignition as it should. Maybe he’s used the wrong fuse, although he insists it’s installed properly do who knows. Anyway as far as I can see there is no reason not to go ahead and buy this. Just make sure whoever installs it for you knows what they are doing.

This kit connected to my viofo a119 mini 2 dashcam. It is usefulas it unlocks parking mode, and it is better than plugging it into the usb port or the 12v supply in the car as it is more consistent and allows you to continue use of these ports.

I purchased this to enable the parking mode on my VIOFO A229 Pro 4K HDR Dash Cam, and it works perfectly. It does exactly what it’s supposed to, so I have no complaints. A reliable and hassle-free addition!

Functional piece of kit that works fine, however it's hilarious how companies have normalised itemised purchases when this very cheaply produced & basic piece of kit should be included with the dashcam. Also, no fuse taps included, no guide as to how to deal with the exposed wiring ends since there aren't connectors already set up & no indication of tools you may need such as the fact you'll need a wire crimper. As others have said, expensive for what it is since it's not even a 'kit' & there are alternatives that include all the actual components you need to fully install. Like most i bought this as a 'better be safe than sorry' in principle of getting the same branded 'kot' for the same dashcam, i am definitely contacting customer service & getting my money back or at least a discount. The modern world never fails to surprise me with the extent it takes to capitalise even the smallest things.

Great hardwire kit. Set this at 12.4v and so far haven't had any issues with my car battery.
