Women's Summer Maxi Dress Casual Loose V Neck Short Sleeve Side Split Long Dresses with Functional Pockets

Love love this dress!! It’s soooo comfy and it has POCKETS! It washes well and doesn’t lose color. I got the dark green and have received so many compliments each time I wear it. I’m 5’2”-ish and it isn’t too long which is fantastic! I love the slits on the sides for easy walking/stairs. I’ve worn it to work (elementary school aide) and it’s great! The quality feels good, it’s a nice weight so it’ll feel good when it’s hot without being too heavy. But heavy enough not to cling. I think it could be dressed up with accessories and shoes no problem but I wear it pretty casual with sandals. Love this! Will buy again in more colors! I ordered a Medium and it fits perfectly.

I love these dresses! So comfortable I just ordered two more. But I have to disagree that they are "true to size". I am short, 5'2", but at 63 I am pretty thick around the middle. I usually wear a women's Large t-shirt or a men's Medium. Size 12 pants probably. I first ordered a Large in this dress. It's HUGE on me! I had to tie knots in a couple places to be able to get around. Then my niece who is 5'7" and perfect weight/body showed up in one (!) and she was wearing XS. It fit her perfect in flats. It did not hug her body but was flattering. I haven't ordered anything less than Medium in 30 years, but I went for it and ordered another in size S. It's still too big! It hugs my tummy, but not tightly, but the shoulders are a smidge too big and it's still a few inches too long (barefoot). So I am ordering two more in XS and they should fit just about perfect. EXCEPT.... Except, mind you, this fabric will show about everything if you have rolls or a tummy, so I definitely will only wear mine around the house. The "13 Purple Gray" is truly a gorgeous purple-gray, but this time I am ordering patterns. :) So, I am ordering for comfort. I have two that are too big, and am ordering two more--third time's a charm. I can't say how well they hold up in the wash yet. I am going to try to shrink the first two I ordered. If they fall apart or get a pilly I'll post an addendum. But so far I love them!

This runs big so keep that in mind and kinda hangs baggie. But material is light t shirt so comfy and cool. Buy one of the scrunchies for T shirts and put it in the wide close to waist or hips and the dress looks amazing!!!!

I am 5'0" and 120 pounds, and got the XS in grey, S in army green (no XS available at the time of ordering). Based on previous reviews (I find these reviews CRUCIAL to my shopping process and thank all of you for the input!) I figured the XS would fit properly but not be "body con" tight, nor baggy. I was right. I am short as can be and the hem touches the floor but doesn't drag. If I wear espadrilles or wedge sandals it will be just right. The slit in the sides comes to just above my knee and is a nice feature in warm weather, and I wear with bike shorts. like I do with most maxi dresses. The cutout in back was of concern to me but, as described, does not expose any of my various bra styles, like a V-neck t-shirt would in the front. The size S green one will be better suited to be worn with a belt for more of a boho look, and will be just as useful, styled slightly differently. The fabric feels like cotton jersey, so it is comfortable, isn't scratchy, slithery or prone to wrinkling, and is NOT see-through. That's a huge plus. I wear maxi dresses all summer and these will be staples of my wardrobe this year. I can dress them up with a belt and a shrug sweater and heels, or wear it like a beach coverup with flat sandals. Love it. EDIT: I forgot to mention the pockets. I know pockets for women's garments, especially dresses, seems like a trendy buzzword, but I find pockets to be a wonderful bonus. These pockets do not bulk-up the silhouette like some could, and are big enough to fit a phone, lipstick, keys. Adding all those things WOULD bulk up your silhouette, but it is still possible. So many women's clothing has pockets that are about 2" square, able to hold nothing, or they don't exist. I often like to carry a chapstick or something and leave my purse behind, and this dress is perfect - I don't have to tuck my items in my bra.... admit it, ladies, we all do this!

I’m giving this three stars because when it arrived and I opened the package, it REEKED of a awful chemical like smell. I can only liken it to the smell of fresh tires. It wasn’t a faint smell ( which would have been bad enough), it stunk to high heaven. I hoped airing it out for a couple of hours would get rid of the smell, but nope. So, I figured maybe I’d wash it to get the odor out before I put it in my closet with my other clothes since I didn’t want the odor spreading to my other clothes, but the label says dry cleaning is recommended. Ok then. So I put it in the dryer for five minutes with a scented dryer sheet. That pretty much did the trick. Now that said, for what it is the dress is all right. It will serve its purpose reasonably well and at this price point, you can’t be too picky or have your expectations too high. I will say this though: the material is a bit thinner than I’d ultimately like, but it’s meant to be a casual summer dress, so that’s not a big deal. Also, it’s slightly fitted in the bust area, not necessarily skin tight or anything, but if you want to de-emphasize that area or you’re very busty, keep that in mind. All in all, I don’t regret buying it. I only wanted it for a comfortable casual summer maxi dress to wear around the house and/or run errands in. It will work for that purpose and maybe even make it through 2 or 3 summers, but because of that AWFUL smell, I can’t say I’d necessarily recommend it, especially since it’s recommended dry clean, a bit thin on the material and a bit more fitted in the bust than I’d like and the picture indicated. Those things cost two stars. If these things are no big deal to you, then yeah, I’d recommend this dress for casual summer wear.

Love this dress! Casual and very comfortable, but nice enough for anything from daytime errands to summer parties, or dressed up for an evening out. I am 5'7", weigh 128, so ordered size small and the dress fits perfectly. Length hits just below the ankles, barely grazing the top of my feet and does not touch the ground affording more sandal options. The side pockets are great, and not visible or lumpy when completely smoothed inwards. The high side slits go up to mid-thigh, which adds to the flowiness and swing of the dress. The dress was also pictured with slightly offset loosely tied knot in front, which i tried and it's very cute knotted for a high/low look. The sleeves are a bit more than a cap sleeve, but not too long or tight. The neckline is a bit high, but wide like a v-shaped boat neck and very flattering (hides the sun damage). I prefer a loose, flowing fit and this dress is all that without looking baggy or boxy. Fabric is very nice quality and lightweight without being too sheer. Another nice feature of this dress is no special bra required! Thinking about ordering in another color. =) Looking forward to wearing this dress a lot during the hot Southern AZ summer!

-1 star- the pockets on this dress are poorly placed and super unflattering for women who have just a little extra fluff on those hips. They are right on your hips and add just a little extra bulk making me look much more pear shaped than I am. -1 star- the length is NOT as expected. From the reviews I was hoping this would be long enough for my height. I’m 5’8” and this doesn’t even touch my ankles in the front of back! I don’t have huge boobs, but I do have a bigger butt and typically expect a little lift from that alone. But the fact that it’s not even close to my ankles is super annoying. Basically I’m getting ready for a tsunami in the middle of the desert in AZ. So that’s cool. -1 star- if you want people to see through your soul as you bend over then this is the dress for you. It’s SEE THROUGH! The fabric is soft, but you definitely can’t go without a slip or underwear if that’s your thing. -1 star- the slit is not as pictured either! I was hoping to have a very cute dress for family photos with just a little slit to show off my cute booties, but NOOOOO this slit goes about halfway up my thigh! The slit in the dress pictured is clearly right below the knee. So now if I plan to wear this dress I have to go tan these thighs so I am not the brightest star in the pictures. And to put the cherry on top of this disaster, it smells atrocious. The moment I opened the bag I wanted to throw it in the washer, but here I am taking pictures in this stinky dress for you, you’re welcome.

I don’t like this dress at all, and I’m just using it as round-the-house dress. I wouldn’t wear it in public. The fabric isn’t soft, as I would expect in a T-shirt dress. There is no give to it, so it’s not very comfortable. The pocket placement is right at the hip/thigh level (depending on your height) and they stick out, making the area look bigger. Nobody needs their hips or thighs looking bigger. Also, the fit is not well proportioned. The top part of the dress is small and the bottom part is big. I would have returned the dress, but it was so inexpensive, it wasn’t worth the trouble. This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. I don't know why it is highly reviewed or recommended. I was very disappointed.

This dress never ended up coming, ordered it back in May, it’s now the end of August.

The print was blurry, the fabric was weirdly slippery, almost satiny. I was looking for a casual loose look but this was just unflattering and shapeless.
