I was looking for an inexpensive replacement for the paddles used by our youth group.Their existing paddles have disintegrated over time with a few flaps of padding clinging to dear life on the paddles. Thus the youth is playing with paddles that had some material and the rest just wood.+ Affordable.Yes, for under $20 we were able to replace four paddles and have some extra ping-pong balls too.+ Not the most spongy paddles, but I didn't expect them to be either.Definitely a step or two up from using sandpaper paddles or bare wood paddles.+ They aren't going to win any tournaments, but great for casual play at home or youth group or wherever.I happen to have invested in a $40 paddle when I was in a work environment where ping-pong was a competitive form of relaxation between work activities. You won't be spinning and slicing that much with these, but that is okay. These work great for training someone to learn simply how to rally back and forth.OVERALL:These met the need and met it well and didn't break the bank.

I saw the large photos with the rubber grip on the sides. I saw the questions where people asked about the carrying case and the rubber grip. What I was not aware of was that they had lower quality paddles on the same page as their higher quality paddles. So I ordered the four pack as I needed a family set. I received it today and it is the basic paddle setup that I really did not want. The ad is misleading. I should have caught it but I did not so not really the sellers fault. But I did give it four stars as they are entry level paddles for an entry level price. Guess I can use these when the kids come over and want to bat around the pong.

These paddles did not last very long. The wood chips easily and the rubber on the paddles peels off so easy.

Item is decent for the price! The paper or padding on the paddle started to come off and we hardly used it. Over all for $14 for 4 paddles is worth it.

As expected about covers it. Base paddles, nothing fancy. For guests who come over who are not regular players, they are perfect.

My son like play ping pong with his father on weekend, but he is a beginner, we had compared with supermarket's paddle, it is expensive, but this one is unexpensive. we found this one is good quality and durable after a while. Great purchase.

They work as well as any other set and the price is unbeatable. I work in a residential and these paddles last as long as any others for 1/3 the price
