You will not find coffee tables with this kind of natural character anywhere else. Our spalted maple was harvested at the last possible moment for optimum character. No two tops will be alike. The base color of the wood ranges from gold to pinks, with streaks of dark brown, reds, and occasionally other colors. Top is crafted from solid spalted maple. Cleats and legs are available in maple, or walnut only. Spalted maple features wild natural character, and often sugaring tap holes which are filled with hand-carved walnut plugs. With splayed, 16'' round tapered legs, supported into nearly unseen yet highly durable cleats, this coffee table has an incredibly light look while maintaining flawless and rugged structural integrity. Sporting a sleek, technical, and modern edge profile, the top seems to float above the legs. Spalted top measures 20'' x 40'' x .75''.
