This is the best mechanical pencil with the 0.9 lead it writes dark and it has a bigger eraser and the rubber on it has a nice feel to it. It’s the only one that I use for writing and notes in class. Highly recommend it.

Pencil perfection has been achieved!!! I have always loved the BIC Velocity pencils because they are incredibly smooth to write with. The leads are a special formula which is strong and wonderfully smooth. They make a nice dark line. I have them in 0.7 and in 0.9 and both are awesome to write with. But I have a special fondness for the 0.9 Velocity pencils because I tend to press hard when I write, and this lead can handle it. This thick smooth lead is especially nice for writing in crossword, word search, or other puzzle magazines because thin or hard lead often rips the paper, and doesn't always show up well. This lead is a puzzle doers dream come true! I would have thought that the Velocity pencils couldn't get any better, but then....along comes this little gem! Not only is it all the wonderful things I already described, but it goes beyond with it's amazingly squishy and comfortable to hold grip! And the eraser! It's way bigger than on the other Velocity pencils, plus it erases like a dream! Smoothly and cleanly removing all traces of the lead without tearing or roughing up the paper. With its super size, it will last a long time, but you don't need to worry when it does run out because a handy tube with extra leads and erasers is included with each 2-pack of pencils. In addition to all those important features, it's also just a very nice-looking pencil. The colors it comes in are pretty and the upper half of the pencil is clear so you can see thru to the colored lead tube inside. If pocket clips are important to you, you'll love the strong clear clip these pencils have. Can you tell I just love this pencil!? I love a good mechanical pencil and these are the best you can get. They’re nice and thick so your hand doesn’t cramp and the lead is sturdy and doesn’t break easily. Plenty of eraser ✏️ for oopsies!

This is the 3rd time I order these pencils from Amazon. Every time I get the wrong ones, so I started buying them at the store, yet somehow I go back to ordering online. I haven’t learned my lesson yet I guess. I need the 7mm pencils, and the description states it’s a 7mm pencil but the image attached shows a 9mm pencil. This is a good pencil, don’t get me wrong, I love them!! But what I wanted was a 7mm pencil and I keep getting the 9mm instead. This mismatch error gets me mad at myself because it’s the 3th time I make this same mistake!! The first time I was mad at seller for sending the wrong one, but by now- it’s my own fault. Great pencil though.

I've been using the Thick Point (0.9mm) BIC Velocity Max Mechanical Pencil for a few years and it is my absolute favorite writing utensil. The grip is very soft and is the most comfortable pencil I’ve come across. As someone with arthritis and who has to write a lot of notes due to being an engineering student and researcher, I couldn’t imagine my life without this.I like the thick lead due to being heavy handed and it erases very well with the eraser. I wish there was a way to buy the erasers separately but they do last a long time. I recently bought a new pack because I ran out of erasers after a year or two.I love these pencils so much, that I get anxious and really sad if I think I left them somewhere.
