I like that it protects all my body. Wish headband would be adjustable, but it did the job to protect me fully from the sun. It does not heat up under, allows air to circulate properly

Works well in RAIN + SUN
I love my umbrella hat. It's wide enough to shield my shoulders effectively during hot sunny days. Not really conducive to keep your hair CUTE since it does have a web strap fitment, but it does feel comfortable and stays in place. But beware of the width in tight spaces! It even shields you from the rain. I did experience a learning curve to EASILY open and close the hat tho. Take your time pulling the cord to insert the rod thru the hole and hold it securely to lock it into place. Then depressed the pointed side to close the umbrella hat when through. Size and low price was also a deciding factor for me.
