Just buy them
Honestly I thought these chairs were too inexpensive and assumed they would be crappy. We've spent tens of thousands of dollars on new furniture recently and these are one of my favorite items. They're comfortable, light weight, sturdy, and are gorgeous. Something like this with wood slats would be $800+ per chair. You'd never know the different besides when you slide them out you're like "oh they're light". Just buy them.

Beautiful
Good quality chairs..happy with purchase. Nice and wide and good arm placement which is good for older or disabled guests.

Lovely, affordable chairs
These chairs are lovely, sturdy and very affordable. We needed a bit of extra seating, but did not want to break the bank. This sanctuary spindle design is perfect for our decor. The chairs arrived much sooner than predicted, were very securely packaged and, with a bit of muscle, assembledeasily. I would purchase these chairs again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

Attractive—Quality Matches Cost
This is an instance when sitting in a kitchen chair would have made a purchase difference. We loved the look of these online, but now that we have them, there are a few features we’d like to alert others about. The chair tops appear large and roomy—we thought they’d accommodate my husband’s 6’2” 220 lb. frame, but the winged angle that curves inward is a bit confining for him. That angled area measures 22” across—if you’re large chested, heavy or broad-shouldered, these might not be the chairs for you. The arms are placed too low on the chairs too—the only thing that can comfortably rest on them are wrists. The problem entails the arm rest distance away from the seat. Our old chairs were 10” apart from seat to arm. These are 6 ½” apart. Those few inches make a big difference in arm comfort. These are adequate for meals, but the combination of low arms and metal backs quickly makes sitting for a longer duration (cards, game playing) uncomfortable.Assembly of the chairs was straightforward, but joining the bottom pieces together sometimes required a bit of strength. We bought four chairs, but one box of stretchers had quality control issues. Those are the figure-eight sections that help support the legs. Fortunately, they were replaced within days by the manufacturer. We appreciated such attentive customer service. These are attractive chairs at an inexpensive price, but be aware quality matches the lower cost. Soldering and metal bar connections (underneath chairs) isn't top notch. We immediately noticed sharp metal burrs underneath the chair arms the very first time we used them. The small pieces can be broken off, but each chair had a few sharp protrusions. We made sure none remained before our very active grand kids visited us. One of the seat tops came with some minor wood chips. Because we use seat cushions and the spots were small, we chose to simply use furniture touch-up rather than send that seat back. That said, the chips are a white color rather than typical wood-colored brown, so I do wonder about the composite of the seats. We do not recommend these chairs to anyone who tends to lean back on two legs—the metal legs will not support that type of activity for long. Had we been given the chance to sit in these chairs, we would not have purchased them—they’re too confining for broad-shouldered men and the arms are just too low for practical resting, but those might not be issues for others. Still, they are very attractive and reasonably well-made for an inexpensive price. The first three photos show what the seat bottoms look like—quite a contrast from their tops. The next three photos show soldering work, how metal bars don’t quite touch each other and what the feet look like. The next photo is a close-up of a burr underneath one of the chair arms and the wood chips on another. The last two photos show the top of a seat and one finished chair.

Love These!
I'm in love with vintage industrial and am slowly changing out all of our furniture. These are just beautiful and I'm so glad I found them. I got four chairs without arms and two with arms for either end. Alone they aren't super comfortable but not necessarily uncomfortable either. They are wide so finding a cushion that filled the seat was a bit challenging and they just fit side-by-side under our table. Any wider and I would have had to return them. I should have paid attention to the measurements. lol Kinda glad I didn't since I may not have ordered them and I would have missed out.

Sturdy and comfortable
Very sturdy chairs. They were very easy to assemble. These chairs have a larger seat and back area so they take up a little more space, but will not have the issues of chair base failure where the rungs separate from the legs of wooden chairs.

Very sturdy and beautiful
My husband used to be a carpenter so I can’t comment on ease of assembly. They are very sturdy. Very large men can use these- 6”5” at 340 lbs approves. I think they are beautiful. I think some of the people that complained about assembly may need someone with a little more skill to assemble, or maybe they for a bad batch. Mine are very strong. They are also a bit wobbly but I don’t really care.

looks like what I ordered!
these chairs assemble with a notable number of screws but when all is said and done it's a wobble-free unit. Bought two, they look good in the room and sit well. A wood seat is a wood seat, therefore a seat cushion is the next item to track down to add to the long term comfort. I would not hesitate to buy two more if I needed them.
