Brought my trimmer back to like. After 6 years of use, my Panasonic beard trimmer was starting to produce some spotty, shaggy results. The new blade replacement brought it back to life. The price for the Panasonic replacement blade was a fraction of the non-Panasonic part replacements.

The original blade was made of all stainless steel. This one is mostly plastic. I don't think it cuts quite as closely for the almost shaved look as the original and I wonder about his durability.

I've had this trimmer for a few years, mostly for light, sporadic use. I had a full grown beard that I wanted to take way down and when I tried the trimmer it felt like it was yanking the hairs out of my face with tweezers. I figured maybe the battery was run down so fully charged it and the problem persisted. I read some online information that led me to believe it could be a bent/ dull blade so rather than throw out the trimmers, I bought this. Approximately 30 seconds to install and boom, cutting like new!

Perfect even for the newer black beard trimmer from Panasonic. Best price you can get. Trimmer like new, thank you!!

長年使ってきたトリマーが、ある日突然大きな音を出すようになりました。剃れることは何とか剃れるのですが、明らかに異常です。そこで内部の掃除のときと同じく刃の部分を外してチェック。特に変わったことはないように見えました、がしかし、そういえば二枚の刃の可動刃は固定刃からは離れなかったような・・。それにこのばねのようなのも刃の部分と一体で、取れなかったよなー。 で、だまされたと思って、替え刃を注文。 届いたものを取り付けると、あらー、（元以上に）スムースに動く。 そこで、新旧の刃を見比べると、固定刃の土台のプラにフックがあって、バネの一端がここにはめ込まれて、固定されています。そうか、ここにばねを入れ直せば良いんだ、と旧刃の復旧にリベンジ挑戦。ところがこれがどんな工具を使っても入らない。で、アマゾンの書き込みをもう一度読み直すと、やはり世の中同じような人はいて、その人は再はめ込みには成功したものの（すごい！）、また暫くすると外れた、と。そうか～、このフックの部分がもう摩耗しているんだと、やっと気付いた次第。うーん、また一つ賢くなった。 それにしても、この替え刃単体でまだ売っているというのもすごいですね。欲を言えば、フックが取れないような構造にしていてくれればもっと良かったが・・。

I didn't know I could find this blade on Amazon. The shaver store advised me to search on Amazon. I'm happy with the quality. It's genuine and I wish I had known this earlier! Before I bought my superb new shaver. I got two shavers now. That's fine. Anyway... I give it 5 stars.
