Good Quality But Fidgety User Interface
I bought this bike based on the four reviews of people here that had received at a free product.Assembly WAS fidgety and took about 90 minutes. Once assembled the bike is solid and comfortable to use.It has a nice soft large seat and adjustments can be made on the seat height and the handle bars. Two things concern me slightly. Using the screen to reset the calories burned, distance etc all work fine barring the duration-time !! The time spent doing an exercise does NOT return to zero . The only way around this for me was to take the batteries out and replace them and this then loses the total odometer usage, Everything returns to zero except (for me) the duration-time ! This is not user error, it clearly says in the instructions that you can reset these functions to zero. The other thing, don't bother downloading the app !..its useless...keeps losing connection, does not retain history...check the ratings (IOS) out yourself.Apart from that, I paid £158 on a Prime day and feel the bike itself is worth it. Its let down (for me) by dodgy user interface and non-supportive app.It IS a good bike , but from a purchaser, it's not quite five stars.UPDATE: have now had the issue with the odometer fixed. I will retain the four star rating due to the ongoing lack of rapport between the app and the bike. The bike does retain a total odometer reading of the total distance however, the display is powered by batteries so when it comes to replacing the batteries it will reset to zero.

Good item but Amazon description needs to be more informative
I had been using an old exercise bike over the summer (2020). The resistance, in comparison) is very high. At first even level one was pretty stiff, above 'general strolling' effort. Now I've been using the new bike for 10 weeks level 3 is still a hard muscle work out and level 1 and 2 are mostly used. In a way it's more realistic but if you are after an easy aerobic spin you might be frustrated .The bluetooth feature is very poor, only really any good as an alternative to the bike's display *. Using a tablet for reading or TV will cover the bikes own display. This is because the 'Fitness Data' dedicated app is about as rubbish as you could imagine. If it looses communication with the bike it zeroises all values when it reconnects. Annoying if half way through a monitored session. So, you can display the bikes readings on your phone but as soon as another app is used connection is lost (data zeroized on reconnect) If you get a call or text, change a music track, check the weather or news, do anything, the connection is lost (there may be a 30 second timeout period). I plan to use an old phone I can dedicate to the job (when I find it).* You have to have somewhere to put it. I have a shelf nearby. After 8 months of use the bike developed a fault, it started making a loud scraping noise. I complained to Amazon and they suggested I return it for a refund. They arranged the return and then some sort of admin error occured and now they will not refund me. Their computer says I have already had the refund which I am sure I have not so it's a case of COMPUTER SAYS NO. So far no end of letters has managed to get the attention of anybody with the power to overide the error. SO FRUSTRATED!!!

Excellent exerciser
Very sturdy (I weigh 10.5stone) with no shaking when getting on/off and cycling. Seat a little uncomfortable but OK for my daily 20 minutes. It did need two to put it together (the sensor wire needed three hands and was very tough to attach). Happy with my purchase.

Assembly needed, good build quality
I have been using the Ultrasport Hometrainer for the past few months in my spare room, and I have been very impressed with the functionality at this price point.First things first, assembly is needed. Fortunately, clear and concise instructions are provided which make putting the bike together a breeze. The diagrams are clear although could do with being a little larger. If you experience some kind of visual impairment then plan to have a magnifying glass or someone with you to assist. Overall the build experience felt very similar to building flat pack furniture and took around 45 minutes in total. Once everything was in place and tightened, the bike feels sturdy and stable. Good adjustability is offered by both the seat (rake and height) and handlebars, so getting in a comfortable and ergonomic position is easy. Alongside this, resistance settings are nicely proportional and offer a good degree of challenge when building up stamina. The LED display is clear and easy to see in bright conditions. Out of preference, I use the bluetooth app which is able to record and store training data. Simple to install and connect - a great addition to this product. The mobile phone holder is secure and I have not had any issues with my phone sliding off mid-workout. I commonly use my phone or tablet during a workout to catch-up on a TV programme or watch music videos to keep me focused. In conclusion - the Ultrasport Hometrainer is a great exercise bike which is compact enough to not take up too much space around the home. It offers a good range of adjustability and the bluetooth functionality makes it great for tracking progress over an extended period of time. Just having it around my home has led to my fitness improving already! Highly recommended.
