These socks are great, they fit my extra extra large calves and are very comfortable. I like the thickness of the socks, the materal is very soft. They wash up very well, color foes not fade sbd they seem to hold up well.

I literally just received these socks and was so pleased that I couldn't wait to do a review. I didn't buy these to make a fashion statement - all though, I do recall rockin them in the 80's, but rather for work socks. I needed tall socks that I could tuck the bottom of my pants in to keep them off of the tops of my dusty chicken pen clogs or from coming in contact with any misfortunes on the ground that I may unfortunately happen upon. Other slouch socks I have aren't quite tall enough and my pant legs always come untucked when bending over or squatting down. These are perfect - plenty tall! Also, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with how soft and cushy they are - quite comfortable! I almost hate to wear them for such a job, but that is why I bought them, so I will. Although, since there are three to a pack, I think I may sneak a pair for lounging in the house on nippy days. I thought they were a little pricey and wondered if maybe I could buy them cheaper locally, but with the great reviews and the fact that they are made in our great USA and that I could get them in two days prime all without leaving the house, I figured I really couldn't go wrong. So glad I went ahead and ordered these. I do not believe I could of gotten anything this nice locally. They were worth anything extra I may have paid! Also, these are plenty roomy. I don't like anything tight and these are just perfect. I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe and these fit perfectly, but I could also see how they would fit a larger foot nicely, as well. I can't say enough about these socks (probably said too much) and I know they're just socks, but they sure do make my feet a lot happier while cleaning up after my ladies and roo. And just a side note, my ladies think I'm still rockin the slouch. ;-) **Update** Three years later (next month) and still going strong (both, socks and my ladies and with a few feathery additions)! And, trust me, they've been through (and in) a lot and definitely "walked that extra mile." Worn every single day to tend to my girls and now roo(s). My feet are happy still and my girls say I'm STILL rockin the slouch ;)

I am VERY pleased with these socks. I ordered 1 pair in red first just to see what they were like. The redcame 1 to a pkg so thought it was a safe bet. I couldn’t have been happier when I opened the pkg!! They are heavy without being weighty. They’re very soft, fit perfectly and “slouch up” very well. They are just the look I was going for. I wear a lot of casual style boots & these both keep my feet nice & cozy while looking fashionable as well. I also ordered the 3-pack in black and will probably order more for my daughter now that I know what great socks they are! I wish there were even more colors to choose from. The price is quite reasonable considering how much socks can cost for just one pair. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I basically took a chance that these would possibly fit. They kind of do, as long as I don't pull the heel up where it belongs. I wear a size 11 wide shoe, and have thicker calves. If I do pull it where it belongs, it's way too tight and uncomfortable. They are a really great quality product. So if you have smaller than size 11 feet, you should be just fine.

I bought these mainly for warmth while sleeping. I prefer the fuzzy chenille socks, but ankle-high ones don’t do the trick in winter when my pajama pants ride up under the covers, and I can no longer find good quality knee-high chenille socks. (Most current reviews for chenille knee-highs say they fall apart after washing. I have three pairs that after more than ten years are finally ready for the trash. Wish I could find more of such good quality.) Since they’re for sleeping, the socks need to be thick, warm, snug but not too constricting, won’t make my feet sweat, and stay up. These socks fit the bill, even reaching to my knee cap. I have skinny legs, a 30” inseam, shoe size 8.5. My elderly mom was on the heavy side, diabetic, and had large calves. These remind me of the socks for diabetics, only a little thicker; she would’ve been pleased with these—not too constricting. I wore them shopping one time with the socks slouched above ankle boots and my jeans tucked in—they looked cute and got some compliments. This paragraph described all the good reasons I gave these socks three stars, but that’s where the positive review stops. You can see in the picture the sock’s inside weave. I don’t know, maybe that’s normal for slouch socks? But my nails get snagged on the white elastic threads. After wearing the same pair to bed two nights in a row and then just walking around the house in slippers, one sock got two holes on the heel; then a completely different pair got a small hole in the same spot on the other foot. At least they held up in the wash; the holes didn’t get any bigger. Still, I expect better quality for $22 for three pairs. For warmth while sleeping, they’ll suffice. But if you want to wear them for a lot of walking around outdoors, I don’t think they’ll last the season without some darning on your part.

These socks were the perfect solution to bulk up my skinny ankles! They’ve become a main staple for my workout outfit. I wear them with leggings and they slouch perfectly around my ankles and stay in place. They machine wash and dry without any problems.

I’m picky about socks and have always worn this knee high style (among many others) since childhood. These American Made Women's Extra Long Heavy Slouch Cotton Socks are a really good weight and fit my thicker leg to the knee, not over, which is perfect. I washed and dried before trying and they held their shape and folded perfectly. They fit very well and are comfortable. Made in America of Cotton is a plus. Back in the day Good old American Quality! Recommend.

Based on the advertised size (9-11) the sock should fit but it doesn't. The foot bed is too short and the heel hits short of my heel curve. I wear a size 7C dress shoe (with hose), an 8W athletic shoe (because of bulkier socks). So these socks should fit, but they don't. They are very tight around the foot and do not have any give or stretch to them. The slouch part is not very slouchy. I have posted the picture comparing these to the ones I previously purchased (same manufacturer, same store) - a significant design change in the way they knit the sock. The sock on the left which looks miniscule is my old one and it fits great and has a lot of stretch. The three other socks are the ones I just purchased and the footbed is too small, the area around the ankle is too tight and feels like a tight rubber band, and there's no slouch look to the cuff, which, by the way is misrepresented in the picture. These do not have the double cuff, it has just the single layer cuff.

I wanted to buy slouch socks and these were supposed to be that however they don’t slouch, the leg part is too tight.

I like the quality, but the size indication is not correct. I'm a size 9.5, and the heel part of the socks doesn't stay in place; the socks are clearly smaller than size 9-11. Also, the color is different than the picture, I bought pink, and what I received was a light, baby pink. Still, the quality of the socks is good, giving a warm, cozy feeling. I gave them to my Mom, the size fits her, and she also likes the color.

They are definetly a slouch sock, but they are too loose on the foot. Does not keep the shape. Feel a bit sloppy.
