Great remote
Exact replacement. Works better and hold a charge better than the one that came with the TV.

barely works at first, breaks soon after
it would double click every time you pressed a button, making it almost impossible to navigate with the remote. then soon after, it just stopped functioning. also, unless remote was pointed directly at the tv, it wouldnt work.

Great replacement for our original remote.
This replacement remote is an exact duplicate of our original remote. It is solar powered, has all the appropriate buttons, is highly responsive, & arrived quickly. The set up was also extremely simple and straightforward on the sleeve that the remote came in. Highly recommend.

Product quality
For those who have bought these product, how long does it serve you before it broke down? I bought it, it stopped working, returned, got replaced and again, the replacement broke down! Am just shy of returning it back.

This remote actually works better than the original, not solar powered!!

Insufficient Replacement
After our dog chewed our original remote beyond the point of return, I thought $100 was expensive for a replacement. Against my better judgement, I ordered it anyway. After a tricky time connecting it to my tv day after day, it finally started working as expected. Less than a week after the return window closed, remote just stopped working. LED indicator illuminates when charging, but no response at all when any button is pressed.

Battery doesn't charge
We have Samsung frame tv's. Each one has this remote. Been great with the ones that came with the tv. Unfortunately, our dog thought it looked like something to chew on and busted it up badly. So I bought this one from amazon as a replacement. As luck would have it, the solar pat doesn't charge the battery (yes the film of plastic on the back covering the solar cell was removed just as the instructions tell us to). So we charged it using the cord. Even more disappointing as the battery charge lasts for only two days. This particular supplier I suspect has some very old stock which lends to the poor battery performance. For $100+ tv remote, this shouldn't be happening. I now will drive 35 miles (oneway) to the nearest location that has one in their storefront to buy yet again.
