Dress was very stretchy even the lace. I could not sit on anything without sliding off though, something about the fabric made it just too slick. It was very body conscious but flattering otherwise. The bride decided to pick something else.

5'5" 220lbs about a 40C and the XXL fit me well. A little stomach bulge did show but I wore very light shapewear underneath and problem solved. The 2 main issues I had were material and the quality, but they weren't big enough of a problem to make it a return. The inside lining material is soft and stretchy which was great, but very thin for a lining that is supposed to be hiding your body from being seen. If in the sun or in a well lit room, people can definitely see what you're wearing underneath. I wrote shorts and problem solved there. The lace material also arrived frayed at the sleeves, but I was in a bind and really needed a dress and unless staring at my dress, no one should notice. Overall, it is a $50 dress so don't expect it to be perfect, just work around the things you can deal with.

I was very nervous about ordering this dress. Because of the reviews I read, I almost didn’t. I’m glad that I did. I’m 5’-2” and 235 lbs and usually wear a xxl(20). Because of reviews stating that this runs small I ordered the 4x, it’s actually pretty loose and I could have gotten away with getting a 3x. However I don’t like things super tight and will make the dress I got work. Because I’m short the dress is quite a bit too long on me. The lace has a finished edge along the bottom so can’t be hemmed. So, I thought about taking it up at the waist seam, but there is a side zipper under the arm on one side and and I don’t want to have to take out the zipper and redo it so I’m just gonna wear it as is. As for the quality of the dress, I was pleasantly surprised as this dress is very elegant and the dress is not at all see through. I got this dress to wear at a formal wedding later this year and I’m really very happy with it.

I bought this in a juniors XXL and it was too tight. Therefore, I did not wear it. It waa more casual than dressy.

Cute dress but can see right through it. Could see my underwear right through it so had to wear a differ dress to the an event I was going to wear this to. Maybe if you add another layer of a skirt thing (can’t think of name) under dress it might work.

The dress runs true to size but it is definitely not as dressy as I expected. It pulls over your head and it has pockets as well, which I found really odd. The lace is more of a cotton material which in my opinion cheapens the appearance of the dress. It is a very nice dress but it did not work for what I needed.

The length is a bit to long for me about two inches and since it is not a straight edge (scalloped) it is not easily hemmed, so I wear taller heels and pick it up.

To be fair, this is an inexpensive dress. As such, the material reminds me of a nightgown one might sleep in. The bodice is a little larger than I needed. The length was perfect. I am currently 5 foot 6 inches and 250 lbs. I purchased the 4x.

Dress fit well and I get lots of compliments.
