So making wigs has become a passionate hobby of mine and I found I needed a good quality mannequin head in the right size for me. It was between two canvas cork block heads and I picked LoveYa products. I LOVE it.Honestly, both heads seem like great quality heads. The GEX brand has more reviews and appears to be more known. I picked LoveYa products for the quality of the base (see photos) and the carrying bag. The band around the base is an off-white with 4 brass colored tacks to keep the band in place vs staples (just looks nicer and neater). I also love the fact that it has a very nice and quality bag to carry the mannequin head or just store it away.The quality is great. Pins go in easily, sizing is accurate and great for wig making. I've only had for a few days now, but so far, would definitely recommend.

You need THIS canvas block to make wigs. It's of excellent quality and priced competitively. To date, I have purchased two different canvas blocks on Amazon. I thought all blocks were created equally but not so. This brand is less expensive than the other one I bought and the quality is superior. I highly recommend this item. I love the fact that it comes with a case/bag. The attached photos show the detail, quality and construction of the head. I also included a photo of how a wig cap and closure fits on the canvas head as well as an image of the bag you can use to store it. 😊

I wish i would have brought this before i made my wig. It holds wonderful. I didnt even measure my head well. sturdy, fits on my tri pod well. No dents, came with the bag ( no real sure for it since my wig form will always be on display. I thought i could just use my styrofoam head to make my first wig, boy was it hard. cant wait to make another wig Excellent purchase.

I received the 22' block head.1. It did not have an odor that I was expecting after reading reviews about most block heads.2. It works well with my tabletop stand from Sally's.3. It is a bit misshapened.4. It was difficult to stick my t-pins through.5. Upon removing the wig, I noticed that the block head had puncture marks from me forcing the t-pin through.6. The quality of the block head is lovely.7. The bag that it comes with is a nice added touch and perfect for travel.8. It also comes with a plastic bag for protection during shipment.9. I used this bag to cover the block head. I placed my wet wig (after washing it) on to the plastic bag that covered the block head so that I would not negatively impact my block head. It helps to protect it from dye, staining, lint, and dirt.10. Overall, this product gets the job done and is made from great materials. However, it is difficult to get my t-pins through it and this leaves pin like holes in the block head once you remove them. Other than that, I am very pleased.Love Ya products would do well if they lowered the price and competed with GEX on that basis.Acting as a broad differentiator would bless us customers and their business.

OMG, so needed this for my wig making. This helps get the frontal and closure pieces in the right place laying flush to the cap before sewing. All wig makers should invest in these. I am ordering additional ones for the sizes of my repeat clients' heads. The canvas has the perfect resistance and it holds all Tpins and needles without bending them. Great to have extra pins available while working and this allows you to have several there plus a place to have additional threaded needles within read. If you make wigs, whether for your own personal enjoyment or for others--ORDER IMMEDIATELY!!!

This head looks nice from the picture,but it has strong smell,like chemical or something. I think it is not good for people, even bad for health. I won't use it. Disappointed.......

Already putting this to use and no regrets. Very easy to construct a sewn wig on. The opening at the bottom fit the stand I already have which I am super happy about. I'm sticking needles and T-pins all around this canvas head with ease and it seems very sturdy. Comes in a nice little cloth bag. All good feedback from me. If I ever need another size I will return to this same seller 100%.

So happy with this head mannequin. I don't make wigs but I do make Head Wraps! I needed a classy solution to display my products and this head mannequin did just that. Great value love the color and gold details on the bottom. I will definitely be ordering more as I get into more boutiques!
