Bought these as replacement tubes for existing bee house. I like the removable paper inserts. The tubes are a tad bit too short for my house, but it’s not a big deal.

Was to be 60 brown tubes and 60 white tubes to total 120 tubes. Received 50 brown tubes and 60 white tubes for a total of 110. Box clearly stated 120 Pcs Mason bee tubes

The tubes are somewhat too short (only 5 inches) for best Mason bee and Orchard bee rearing; you are likely to rear mostly males from these short tubes. Better tubes for rearing balanced females and males are longer (6-7 inches) and you can get these for essentially the same price from other suppliers. Second, don't be fooled by the advertized number "120 pieces"; this includes 60 brown outer tubes and 60 white inner tubes, and you have to assemble these yourself. From other suppliers, you can get for essentially the same price 120 assembled tubes (= 120 brown outer tubes plus 120 white inner tubes). Third, the brown outer tubes are not closed on one end (to help protect the bees from parasitoids and predators), and other suppliers sell outer tubes with one end closed. These nesting tubes are bad for bees. Buy these tubes only if you want your bee population to die quickly.

Great for my leaf cutter bees. The bees like them. I add these each year to my bee houses.

The outer tubes are reusable, but the inner tubes do not come separately and it is hard to find other sellers with the specific measurements to properly fit those tubes snuggly. You can find replacement inserts that are either too long or too short or the diameter is too small, but if you can find those, the price for the outer tubes and inserts is sustainable. Also, not to mention that these tubes are compostable, but takes a few seasons to break down. I would recommend this product and seller, but the seller should have replacement options available for the inner tubes. Thank you.
