Nice and sticky
I got the fun job of decorating a short racetrack for toy cars, so this tape was perfect for the center line and borders for the start and finish lines. It's vinyl and very sticky, even on the somewhat rough surface of painted plywood. It does stretch as you peel it off the roll, so be sure to let it rebound before laying it down or you may come up a bit short if you've already cut it. I love the bright color, and it's thick and seems durable. I think it'll hold up well to many races, though it does not stop wayward cars from crossing into the other lane. But my understanding is that crashes are the most exciting part of watching a race, so I guess I wouldn't want to take that away from the kids.

Ideal for securing bicycle handlebar wrap
As an assembler of bicycles (mostly road and gravel), I often apply handlebar wrap. Never is the finishing adhesive tape supplied with wrap kits enough for my liking, and other adhesive tapes Iโve tried (electrical tape, big ape tape, etc.) have not worked well, sliding and peeling and leaving a sticky mess. This tape, 1โ black, has proven to be ideal for my purpose. Not as โstretchyโ as electrical tape so easy to neatly apply, slightly thinner than electrical tape so it conforms to the texture of the bar wrap, stays put under riding conditions, and is easy enough to remove if desired. Perfect!

The backing is very sticky. That's good but can be bad.
The backing is sticky enough to bond to pretty much anything but... so much effort is required to peel it off the roll that the pulled end of the tape can be distorted. So if you need a perfectly uniform piece of tape, you may have to unroll 6" more than you need because you might have to cut off the stretched end. Would I buy it again? I might try another product to see if it reacts in the same way. That's the trick with adhesives. Think post-it's. Brand name ones come off the pad easily and they stay where you put them. Aftermarket copies are sometimes too sticky.

Good quality
This pinstriping tape is heavy enough to make using it easy, but light enough to not look bulky. Great adhesion even with a lift off.

Strong ( not for use as undies)
Very sturdy tape, the stickiness is strong as a Maltipoo struggling to get away from a heart worm pill. Donโt recommend making thong underwear out of it to impress your wife!

Thin, not sticky, color darker than shown
So Thin that two people with precise measurements and markings was unable to get even a 1ft section to stick straight due to it being thin and moving , not sticky, color darker than shown

Great alternative to painting!
I bought the 1/4โ yellow for pinstripe on (horse) jump poles and it is exactly what I needed for the purple/black/white paint to pop (Go Ravems!) It went on easily and seems to stick pretty well. I did two laps around in the top pole, but then just one lap on the bottom two poles. Up close, you can see a slight difference , but not enough for me to worry about. Will see if the double wrapped ones hold up better, or if it makes any difference. It says itโs not for outdoor use, but for the price and how much time it saved me (vs painting), I figured I couldnโt go wrong trying it. The tape does have some stretch, but nothing crazy. For 1/4โ tape, I actually think itโs pretty solid and would say less stretchy than electrical tape. You just have to be consistent in your pull - Either pull out a length and lay it on, or unroll as you go. All in all, very happy with my purchase. If it holds up to being outdoors, will probably order some different colors and widths for some of my other jumps.

An unusual use for this tape!
Used 1 roll of the 1/4 inch brown tape to outline Artscape New Leaf decorative window film on ceiling light panels, trying to mimic lead lines in stained glass. The brown tape against the lighting looked black, but the film design had a lot of black too, so it worked out. Tape was very easy to handle, even in long strips; it didn't twist or tangle or get stuck on itself. My job (4 light panels and 2 door windows) used 1172 inches of tape so one roll was sufficient, with 100+ inches left over to correct and fill in. If you want to try this design too, I noticed that the tape receded from the corner intersections overnight, so the next day I had to lift the corners and redo. Better to put down a double layer to stop stretching of the tape. Very happy with the results and WAY less expensive than real stained glass!
