This applies easily and consistently and in my opinion was one of the better suncreams for children due to its ingredients. However there are still some chemicals used in this product and seemingly new additions of aluminium which aren't ideal, though probably are harmless.

This sunscreen is VERY thick and requires quite a bit of time to massage into the skin. It also leaves a shiny white cast, even after rubbing it well into the skin. The white cast eventually subsides as the day goes by but when we leave the house, the white cast is obvious. My youngest also has a little spot on his face after using this - i have a feeling it was because it clogged his pores. In my opinion, its one for the body - not the face. I probably won't go back to this once i've used it up.

I've been using Blue Lizard Baby Sunscreen on my 20-month-old son, and overall I'm very happy with it. The formula is definitely on the thicker side, which I actually appreciate because it stays put and gives me confidence that his face is well protected during outdoor play. I have a half white half black baby so his skin is extremely sensitive and sunburns easy, this is the only sunscreen that has worked for him. It is a bit pricey, but it’s so worth it because he has not gotten one sunburn or rash. My baby is 4 months so you can put it on younger babies!
