Tineco Floor ONE S5 PRO 2 Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum Smart Hardwood Floor Cleaner Machine, One-Step Cleaning Mop for Sticky Messes and Pet Hair, LCD Display, APP, Voice Guide with Ultra Mode

There are some features on their flagship mop vac that I would love to have in this S5 Pro 2, such as the lights. Sounds like a gimmick, but we have the laser Dyson, and it legitimately helps you see the dust and dog hair on the floor, and the larger battery capacity. I don’t actually have an issue with the clean or dirty water tank size, even tough I do have to empty them during cleaning cycles depending on how dirty the floors are since it automatically adjusts how much cleaning solution is dispensed - a great feature. Sometimes the clean water lasts longer, and the dirty water tank takes longer to fill up, and sometimes it’s quicker. Just depends on how dirty the floors are. As you can see in the video, it does great with dog hair. We have a Golden Retriever. Her hair has literally killed vacuums despite regular cleaning, but the Tineco doesn’t have any weak points where the hair builds up. As long as I stay on top of regular cleaning I don’t typically vacuum before moping, but if there’s excessive hair on the floor I will sometimes run the Dyson first just to make the Tineco last longer before needing to go through a cleaning cycle. In this video I shook out our rugs onto the floor so that you can really see the mop being run through the paces, and it does great! In so many of the review videos you see people pouring spaghetti and other food debris onto the floor - that’s probably a factor if you have a toddler in your home. We do not. I think the review video’s are excessive. We’ve had small accidents - spills, food dropped, etc. and where I use to run and grab a towel, I now run and grab the mop. Sometimes I realize I’m grabbing the mop for small messes just because it’s quicker and more fun than getting down on my hands and knees to pick up a mess. As I mentioned, we don’t have a toddler, but we do have our nearly 91 year old grandmother who lives with us and sometimes I think she’s equal to a toddler in the messes that she makes. Sticky floors and bathroom accidents - are actually why I bought the mop in the first place. I was finding that the amount of time that I was spending cleaning in the morning was causing me to be overly stressed and late to work. This Tineco has mostly eliminated that issue, and for that reason has been worth the high when compared to some competitors. It does great! I hope it lasts for a long time, but if something were to happen, I think I would replace it immediately. I wish it were a little more affordable and less of excessive purchase, because I would love to be able to gift this as a house warming gift or wedding gift or be more confident in recommending to friends and family that are on tighter budgets, but at the price point, that’s one hesitation that I have. For me though, I love it, and have zero buyers remorse after 3/4’s of a year of ownership and regular use.

2/13/26 - UPDATE Still no resolution to this. The seller, Tineco, had me send it back directly to them, I paid $30 out of my pocket to send it, they refunded me $25 for shipping and now are jerking me around. They have my mop and my money! Tineco have horrible customer service. 2/1/26 - UPDATE Several months ago this unit started leaving about a 1 inch wide trail of water when I pull the mop backwards. I have reached out to Tineco and am now going back and forth about how they are going to make it right. I was told my unit can't be repaired. I was first offered a 50% refund and they keep my machine. Then the most recent offer is a refurbished, lower level unit with no compensation. I am very frustrated with this. Either refund ALL MY MONEY or replace it with an IDENTICAL UNIT. That's how warranties work. I purchased this in November of 2024 and don't use it very often and they have a two year warranty. I will update again after this has all been sorted. UPDATE: shortly after posting this original review, I was able to take the top off of the dirty water container and saw a small plastic filter that catches debris. I was able to remove the debris and all is well. Though, it would’ve been nice if the manufacturer had gotten back to me on my review and shared with me how to remove the debris. I love the ease of use on this mop but did expect more based on all the great reviews. I find it very difficult, nearly impossible, to remove a normal shoe prints and dog prints from my floors. DISLIKE The prints are simply everyday shoes, nothing out of the ordinary is on the soles of the shoes. I always have to use a separate wet cloth, get down on the floor, and wipe them away. Another dislike is the number of times I have to empty the DWT and fill the CWT is ridiculous. My home is of modest size, total SF of mappable space is about 1550. I like to mop the whole house at least every other day so that becomes a bother. I'm also wondering how to get the bits of debris out of the DWT. Is there a way to open that to get it all out?? I have had it tell me to perform a self-clean, on numerous occasions, while using it. What's up with that? I do a self-clean after each use to make sure it is always clean and doesn't begin to stink. Does it know there is something clogging it? Is that the reason it tells me to self-clean?? Having this mop really does make it easy to keep my floors mostly clean and I will keep it despite the drawbacks.

***Update After a year and a half*** I bumped my rating to 5 stars. This thing is perfect IF it fits your home and expectations. I have a 1,200 sq ft apartment with synthetic wood floors and a very sheddy white lab. I can mop my entire space with one clean tank on Ultra Mode. It puts the battery at 70-75% before self-cleaning. I need to refill the tank for self-cleaning because that will suck 1/3 of your clean water tank. With cleaning cycles and refilling the water tank a few times, you could thoroughly mop and self-clean 2,600 sq ft! I recently spring-cleaned and quadruple mopped my floors. The mop bucket water was almost clear. I decided to run the Tineco over my "clean" floors. The dirty water tank was filthy!!!! This thing can't reach corners or behind toilets, but it objectively cleans and scrubs my floors far better than a regular mop. I'm obsessed with the self-cleaning mode. It simply just does what it says. If you're expecting this to sweep up vast amounts of hair and debris, it will; however, I wouldn't advise. You're asking to wear out your machine and potentially cause problems. If I skip a few days of not using it, I always do a quick Dyson sweep to get the majority of the dog hair. It has fantastic suction and still finds hair/debris after I use my vacuum. I wouldn't use my Dyson on a job that calls for a shop vac—same principle with the Tineco. Cons: *Expensive- It's worth it if you use it regularly. I use mine almost every day, (it takes me 10-15 mins to do all of my floors). I don't need to pull out my Dyson if I'm consistent with the Tineco. If you plan to use it once a week with pets, you'll want to pre-vacuum your floors. *Tineco Solution- SO expensive!!! I like the solution, but you'll eat through it fast. There are Amazon dupes for much cheaper. I use a 3/4ths cap of cleaning vinegar. Don't use it if you have wood floors (it'll dull them). *The App- Idk why there's an app? It allows you to change the volume and buy accessories from Tineco. Pretty worthless. *Hardware Quality- The wheels and the charging stand feel cheap, but everything else is well built. Pros: *Time *Ultra Mode- It uses electrolyzed water to clean *Replacement Parts- You can buy a 3-pack of filters and brushes from Amazon for $21. I've replaced one brush in almost a year and a half. *Self-Cleaning Mode- Best feature on this thing!!! Cleans the system in around 2 minutes. It works as advertised. Once a month, I'll take the brush off and clean the intake hole. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO DUMP THE DIRTY WATER TANK AFTER USE!!!! Can't stress that enough! Its cleaning cycle is just long enough for you to go to another room, forget to dump it, and things get NASTY in that tank. The Tineco is perfect for my situation, flooring, and needs. It cleans better than a mop, but can't replace a mop.

I have no regrets buying this. I bought it when it first came out about 2 years ago. Cutting my time in half between vacuuming and mopping is such a relief. Especially with a newborn. The Ultra setting is also a huge plus when you have a crawling baby and toddler. It electrolyses the water to sanitize. It also has a suction mode which is great for mopping up spills before cleaning. A year in I had a problem with the appliance to charging. Customer service is just absolutely superb. They sent a free return label in order to box it and return it for maintenance. The service was very fast. I had it returned within 2 days after I dropped it off at the courier. Just recently I had the small plastic piece that supports the machine on the charging station break of. It still functioned when I taped it back on. But I got in touch with customer service and they shipped a new one free of charge. All in all I am very satisfied with the product performance and excellent customer service. I wish I can have the option to upgrade the mop head to the newer models.

We are very happy with our Tineco and it does a GREAT job of cleaning our vinyl tile flooring. It maneuvers well and has great suction power and the floor is always sparkling when we are finished! It isn't too heavy and almost moves itself. The reason for our 4 rating is because the battery life is not great and we often have to recharge once to complete our main level of floor cleaning. Charging can take several hours so it can be a bit frustrating to wait for the recharge. Additionally, it can take two tanks of water to complete the job and it often requires the self cleaning cycle in the middle of doing the job. Overall, we would make this purchase again and it has been a positive! But at this price point we would hope for better battery life.

Mentioned to my husband I wanted this and he seemed a bit put off by the price. Understandable. Now that we have it, we are so happy with the investment. We have about 1000 sq ft of vinyl plank, plus tile in two bathrooms, entryway, and large enclosed patio, and I just hate traditional sweeping and mopping, but with a toddler, baby, and two dogs, we can’t really go without cleaning the floor most days. This has made it immensely easier and quicker than I ever could have dreamed. We’ve used it for a few months now, and these are the biggest things I can think of right now: Pros: -Long charge let’s me do all hard surfaces in a single charge, even using Ultra mode as needed. We have about 1500 sq ft of hard flooring and I’ve never ran out of a charge. -Doesn’t leave floors sopping wet, dries super fast so I don’t have to worry about the littles slipping on wet floor, or excess water seeping between flooring planks. -Picks up everything from dirt to splattered yogurt to squished blackberries in one go. But we do have dogs that pick up larger food prices like bread or goldfish if they catch it before I do. We haven’t tested anything like eggs or spaghetti like in the the commercials. But I have cleaned up a bowl of milk and soggy cheerios that got dropped, so I’m sure it would pick up most things you need it to! -Relatively quiet: doesn’t freak out the dogs or littles. Much quieter than say a vacuum. -Prompts when water needs to be added, dumped, etc. some have said it’s a bit loud, but I like it. Notes (might be cons though they don’t bother me): -If you don’t clean the dirty tank every use it can smell. This hasn’t been a problem for us, it’s pretty straight forward to dump dirty water, rinse (I will also clean it with a splash of mild detergent or vinegar if it was really dirty) but I did forget to do it once and notice it smelled funky when I cleaned it a day or two later. Obviously it’s a dirty tank of floor gunks so I wouldn’t expect anything less, but I could see if you left dirty water in there for a long period of time it might get really nasty and be harder to clean. -On some extra dirty floor days, I have to refill the tank and empty the dirty tank more than once. To keep it from being heavy or cumbersome, the tanks are not huge. Usually one fill and one empty does all my floors. But if there’s extra dirt or a larger liquid spill, you’ll have to refill/dump more. Granted it’s amazing that it can clean so we’ll using a fraction of the water/cleaning solution that I would use with a traditional mop. -The self propel took me a few times to get the hang of. I kept pausing to bend down and move a cord or something, and it would jerk from me. The self propel is mostly helpful, don’t get me wrong. But it could be frustrating to some. -I find it “vacuums” debri best moving forward, so I either go more like a lawnmower and just walk continually forward in a pattern, or I do smaller strips forward, then backward over the same strip of floor and move sideways to a new strip to move forward…if that makes sense. This just took some getting used to as well. -if something is super hardened or stuck on, you may just scrape it off first or it will take several passes. We had a piece of candy or something that got stepped on and hardened. It didn’t come up after two passes, so I scraped it off. Ended up having to use a stoneware scraper, so it was really hardened onto the floor. Also my toddler put stickers all over the floor once. This doesn’t clean those up, hahaha.

UPD: I bought a second one. We barely used that one. It broke after only 3 months!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!!! First time the sensor died and now the roll doesn't roll anymore. NEVER BUY IT!!!! Pros: 1. It is an amazing device while it lasts. My floor was super fresh and clean, I saw how much dirt it sucked in. 2. It is cordless, very handy for the households with small children. Just take the vacuum and clean the mess. 3. It is 2 in 1: I didn't need to vacuum and then do the mopping, it saved me a lot of time! Cons: 1. It only took 2 month for this device to break. From the reviews I discovered it's a common issue with Tineco, the device 'brain' tends to break after a couple months of use. Mine started acting up after 2 months of use, and after 6 months it stopped working completely. It kept shutting off asking to restart the device or just complete shut off, just black screen. I tried cleaning the device, tried replacing the filter, the roller, charging it (even though it was fully charged always), nothing helped. 2. Customer service is a joke. I spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service, trying to get to a person and after that I had to send them videos of the mop not working. I also had to buy my own box to ship it back to them. 3. IT SMELLS! I cleaned it vigorously. After each use I would turn on self cleaning and clean dirty water tank. Every night I disassembled the parts of the mop, cleaned them and waited until it's not wet anymore. Nothing helped, it still smelled bad. After some time I realized it's the filters, so I replaced them. The smell came back after just a couple of weeks after I replaced the filters. It cost me $42 to buy the filters and now I realized I will have to pay $40-$80 a months just to support this mop. A tip: I tried putting the filters and the rollers in a laundry bag for delicates in my washing machine using delicate cycle. This is the only thing that helped me with the smell! In the end, I decided to get rid of the mop instead of sending the mop to the customer service, mainly because the horrible smell has spread to each part of the mop. Washing the filters didn't work anymore because the mop started being stinky from the inside, even though I used to spend 30 minutes every single evening to clean it. I figured, I have a full time job and 2 little kids, I have no time to search for an appropriate shipping box, carry the mop to UPS, wait for God knows how many weeks until they fix it and finally it won't solve the smell issue. So I bought a Bissel instead, they have a decent customer service and their devices last longer then 2 months.

Short version: very impressed and highly recommend! Ok y’all, I’m the hypercritical, read all the bad reviews, have stupid high expectations and not get an item person. I was so hesitant to pull the trigger on this because it’s pretty pricey but I am SO GLAD I did!! For context, I have three dogs (a corgi who sheds all the time, a double coated mutt, and a short hair), we live literally in the woods, my dad lives with us while he’s building his house, my husband works construction and neither one of them take their boots off when they come in. My floor is textured and I admittedly do not do a good job keeping it clean so it’s got quite a bit of buildup and packed in dirt. I was worried about some of the reviews saying this doesn’t do well with dog hair or that it doesn’t do great cleaning old messes (like my dirt packed floor I guess). I cleaned my kitchen in max mode and was pretty sure I’d need to go over it at least twice. I did a spray and wipe test with some floor cleaner and a paper towel and the paper towel came up clean after one time with the Tineco! (you can see the wetness from my hand but it’s not dirt) I was shocked! In one photo I posted, you can see where I stopped cleaning a bit past the end of the counter. I did sweep before I used this thing. I saw several reviews of people griping that they have to sweep first but, for me, that’s the first step in cleaning floors. You sweep then you mop. So I don’t know how it would preform if you used it without sweeping but I feel like it would have done well. I also plan to use it this way (not sweeping first) as a more frequent maintenance clean after I get this initial deep clean done. My only semi-complaints are battery life and tank capacity. But I think these are both understandable with just how bad my floors were. I was able to clean my kitchen on max mode with one battery life (28 min max in max mode) it did seem to go down pretty quickly but I was really making the poor thing work. I also had to empty the dirty water tank/refill the clean water tank often but, again, I think it’s understandable because I don’t even remember the last time I mopped. I fully expect to go longer between tank changes as I keep up with my floor and use this more for maintenance.

Muy buena máquina, no dirá que es un must have, pero facilita enormemente la limpieza, es un poco molesto el tema de que se descarga muy rápido y que la carga es muy, pero muy lenta (4 horas aprox), pero, en los 30 min que te otorga de limpieza la verdad lo hace muy bien. Otro detalle a tomar en cuenta es que el producto que únicamente se puede usar es el de su marca, es sumamente caro, por lo cual debes tomarlo en cuenta si la compraras. En fin, buen producto, mal rendimiento de batería, mala velocidad de carga, muy buena capacidad de limpieza, ninguna alternativa (dicha por la marca) para producto de limpieza- que trabaje sin riesgo con el aparato.
