Perfect for #4 ga. charger leads.
The 4-gauge leads on my older charger are "horse-hair" stranded wire - very flexible, but should be guarded from fatigue. An original clamp had been lost because it was only clamped to the wire at the "jaw" end, and not farther back along the handle (handles did not have clamps). These terminal clamps have a copper wire clamp at the jaw, and an insulated clamp at the back of the handle, so the wire can be completely immobilized and secured. Easy to install, jaw is properly designed to work on an automotive battery, spring is strong, and the clamps are reliable in use.

Replaced my plastic clamps.
The really nice plastic clamps that came on my expensive batt charger snapped in the cold weather. These steel clamps will not do that. They attach easily to the cables and hold fast to the battery.

missin lock nut
the clamps are ok - a little hard to attach cable- the preferred method of attaching the cables (per their instructions) is to use a screw and self-locking nut - however - no nut is provided and were not available from local hardware store because the inclosed screws are metric NOT ASE - so I had to buy screws and nuts- not pricey just required a trip to town to buy them - we'll see how the clamps hold up

Exactly what you should have expected for $10.
These are not the sturdiest, not the thickest, but are almost exactly what my 30-year-old jumper cables had originally. They are perfect replacements and went on quite easily and solidly.

Strong Clamps Good Connection
Just what I was looking for. Wired up to a 1500 watt Inverter that is stored in a heavy duty, water proof mobile container I can connect to the battery on my F250 when needed to temporarily run a small compressor.
