550 Guaifenesin 750mg Capsules - 1 Bag of 500 and Carry around bottle of 50

I had been taking two 12-hour Mucinex 600 mg time-release caplets a day but have been looking for a lower-cost alternative. I had tried mixing/matching Mucinex one cap/day with a generic 600 mg non-time-release brand, but the latter was not effective long enough. This product was so much cheaper per capsule than anything else I decided to try it, hoping the additional 150 mg would last 12 hours until I was ready for the 600 mg Mucinex. After one month of taking the Herbal Advantage product and Mucinex 12 hours apart (1/day each), I have been pleased with this regimen's effectiveness. My only concern is the labeled directions for this product: "Take one capsule per day, with food, as a dietary supplement." I am unaware that guaifenesin is considered a "dietary supplement." Typical use is to thin respiratory secretions, though it has been used "off label" to treat conditions such as osteoarthritis. It seems like a stretch, however, to suggest off-label uses for guaifenesin supplements a normal dietary requirement of anything. Since my use is on-label, and it seems to work well as a complement to the much more expensive Mucinex 12-hour formula, I am quite happy with how it works for me.

I have been taking this particular brand for 3 years now. my doctor told me to take musinex daily for my bronchial problems, the cough was always tight and not productive and breathing extremely difficult. Musinex is ridiculously expensive.....but Butterfly Brand is the purest and best and most cost effective by miles !!!... thank you for putting out a wonderful product. Star in Texas

Having COPD sometimes I use this to help loosen up phlegm in my lungs. I have found this product to work as well as the brand name and is much less expensive. The seller is awesome. One time there was a mistake in the shipping and he solved the problem much to my satisfaction.

This does the job well, is not nearly foul tasting as most brands. Would buy again

MUCH less expensive than the Mucinex brand. This is my second order, they have done the job. Easier to swallow than the generic or non coated kind. The capsule is a bit large but totally do-able !

Love this company. This product was shipped in my case much faster than they guarantee. I was skeptical that this was actually Guaifenesin because of the price but it really is =) Yeah Guaifenesin has that disgusting unmistakable odor when opening the bottle and erm...other times? those who use it fairly often know what I mean >.< Guaifenesin usually comes in horse sized pills that I have a hard time swallowing but these seem to go down easier. It's quite miraculous stuff.
