Jot should be consumed within 90-days of when the coffee was brewed (each bottle is stamped with a "best by" date on the shoulder). Once opened, we recommend consuming within 2-3 weeks for maximum quality and freshness. We also recommend storing both unopened and opened bottles in the fridge to help preserve freshness.

typical 8 oz of coffee has 60 -100 mg of caffeine so how is this 20x stronger?

Jot is 20x more concentrated than single-strength coffee. The concentration level itself is a measure of the solids in a liquid (i.e. Brix). One tablespoon of Jot contains about 140-150mg of caffeine (roughly equivalent to the caffeine level of a strong cup of coffee), which when combined with 8oz of water or milk (hot or cold) makes a delicious coffee or latte in a matter of seconds.

Does the taste of this coffee resemble a light, medium or dark roast?

The beans are roasted to full city (between medium and dark) to give the coffee a rich but smooth flavor.

Do you make a low-caffeine or decaf version?

I used less coffee and more milk - so it was lower caffeine- good
