Dr. MartensUnisex-Adult 2976 Chelsea Boot

I've been wearing Docs since they were all made in England and Nirvana was a new band... Yes, the quality of Dr Martens has gotten... varied. Some products have been poorly constructed, some used inferior materials; but some products are actually about the same quality as before they restructured the company and moved all of the production overseas.All that being said, these are a great casual boot. The leather is probably 0.5-1.0mm thinner than vintage boots but that's still thicker than some of the offerings out there. The waxed finish on the leather is doing some awesome things to the creasing and marring.As soon as you put these on... you will really that you are TRYING to put them on. They are stiff out of the box. An their shape and construction don't lend themselves to getting your foot in. It's a narrow ankle on them but the elastic portion of the shaft is incredibly durable. You can wrench the boot open and slip your foot in.You will immediately notice that the waxed finish gives this a pull-up look on the leather. These brown ones get some gorgeous streaks of orange from underneath the grain. My picture doesn't do it justice.The cut and style is the same as it has been since the 90s or 00s, whenever the Chelsea was first introduced. They look amazing with dark or light jeans and with casual slacks that aren't khaki in color (personal preference).Wearing these around the house and out in town gets them broken in in a matter of days. As such, they are much easier to put on and take off than when you get them.I would suggest using DM's cleaning solutions and creams for these. The waxed leather behaves differently than a regular smooth grain 1460.These have become my go-to "shoe by the door" and I have often found myself wearing them all day. The AirWear Bouncing Sole design has really maintained its quality.

I ordered these back in February for my boyfriend’s birthday and he absolutely loves them and I love to see him in them ;) They look amazing on him and are perfect for work. He is a retail manager and he said they are very comfortable and stylish. Grabbed a size 11 which was perfect. His size varies between 10.5 and 11. The 11 gave him enough room with his socks and he has wide feet :D Price was high but worth it. We are never let down by Doc Martens!

I love these boots. I wear them all the time.When they first arrived, I could barely get them on, they were so tight and stiff. I almost sent them back. But after a few wears, the leather broke in and got better. I am glad I kept them longer, because I seriously prefer these boots over sneakers. They look amazing with almost any outfit, the leather is quality and will last me years, and they are comfortable to wear. I get compliments all the time from complete strangers, and I always say, "Docs are worth the hype".Buy these, give them time to wear in, and enjoy!

I got the gaucho and it is a DEEP DARK BROWN. Mine came in a doc martens box with tags and everything. The picture the seller put is a lighter color than what I got. I think it was the lighting they took of it. BUT I AM NOT complaining. this color is beautiful and it came brand new. No creases were on these boots so everything is BRAND NEW. they’re light and breathable and the soft wair is the best. You don’t even need no inserts. It molds to your feet. I have a high arc and I buy inserts for all of my shoes and this is beyond comfortable. They look rugged and rough with the color.

I chose to return these but was bummed that I needed to. These fit a bit wider than a Blundstone boot so if your foot is on the normal/narrow side, they might not work. I had Doc Martens back in the 80's and while these are no longer made in the UK, they seemed as if they would be quality and last. These were not too heavy, and the leather was a deep rich brown. I felt as if they toe box was too wide for me but may work well for others. Quality Chelsea boot.

These are perfect for working

I have always admired Dr. Martens for their reputation in quality footwear, so I was excited to purchase the Unisex-Adult 2976 Chelsea Boot. However, my experience with these boots has been deeply disappointing, leading me to give them a one-star rating.The first issue I encountered was with the fit. Despite selecting my usual size, these boots were uncomfortably tight, particularly around the ankle area, making it a struggle to even put them on. The lack of flexibility in the material contributed to this discomfort, which I didn't expect from a brand known for sturdy yet comfortable shoes.Furthermore, the quality of the leather was underwhelming. Instead of the soft, durable leather I was anticipating, the material felt stiff and of a lower quality than what I've experienced with Dr. Martens in the past. This stiffness caused the boots to crease unnaturally and led to a quick deterioration in their overall appearance.Another significant drawback was the sole of the boot. It lacked the robust, anti-slip properties I've come to associate with Dr. Martens. I found myself slipping on surfaces that have never posed a problem with other footwear, which was both surprising and unsafe.To add to these issues, the iconic aesthetic appeal of Dr. Martens seemed to be missing in this particular model. The boots lacked the stylish, edgy look that the brand is known for, making them feel like a generic version of the classic Dr. Martens design.In summary, the Unisex-Adult 2976 Chelsea Boot by Dr. Martens was a letdown in terms of comfort, quality, safety, and style. They failed to live up to the high standards set by their other products, and I regret this purchase. I cannot recommend these boots to anyone seeking the classic Dr. Martens durability and style.

Botas de mucha calidad y guapísimas, en el primer uso ya deja ver unas marcas marrones más suaves que su color original que es bastante más oscuro, dándole un toque de personalidad al estilo de unas botas más viejas, parece que es normal en el tipo de piel que es CrazyHorse. Perdón si lo he escrito mal pero el inglés no es lo mío.... El primer uso cuesta calzarlas por la rigidez de la piel y la goma, pero al segundo ya se nota más cómoda de calzarlas por lo que estás botas quieren ser usadas a diario. Muy recomendable

Leider musste ich diesen schönen Schuh zweimal zurückgeben, da er jedesmal in Größe 38 geliefert wurde anstatt in Größe 37... sehr ärgerlich!!!

Nicht mein einziger Schuh dieser Art. Sehr angenehm zu tragen, warm gefüttert und sieht dabei noch echt gut aus! Passt genau, allerdings nur ohne Einlagen, Innensohle ist fest verklebt.
