This set is high quality product. It contains 12 beautyblenders in different colors and they cut into two shapes (see my pics.). They are very soft and fun to use for makeup application. I highly recommend you to make the beautyblender wet and little bit dry it with paper towel before applying makeup. Then, you deep it into your foundation and apply it with tapping motion on your face. I used very cheap and heavy consistency foundation for testing this makeup tools. As you can see from my pictures, this beautyblender was able to make this foundation lays smooth and thin over my skin. This product made my 48 year old skin even and young with the cheapest foundation on today’s market. I impressed by this set quality. Also, these beautyblenders are very easy to clean. Keep in mind you should wash and dry this product before use. I cleaned this beautyblender next day after applying my makeup and all the makeup stains came off without any problem. However, it takes several days for drying. I don’t mind it because this set has 12 beautyblenders. After see all the benefits of this set, I rushed and purchased two more sets as a backup. Also, you cannot beat the price, for $6.99 you get 12 regular size beautyblenders! If you like makeup this product is for you!!! Highly Recommend This Beautyblender Set!!!

Perfect application

they’re pretty good, but they start smelling

Stocked up on a set of angled and teardrop sponges after years of riding the Brand Name Blender bandwagon. Wet or dry, these stipple foundations on my skin beautifully. I'm hitting 40, and my pores are starting to appear larger as I age (boo, hiss). The texture on these sponges helps apply makeup smoothly so that it fills the deeper pores with enough product to provide excellent coverage. I prefer using nonsilicone primers and moisturizing my dry and somewhat texturally rough (I dermaplane, but man, do those years catch up with you!) before applying my makeup. I use these sponges dry to pat in my primers, too, and I don't feel they absorb too much where you feel you are losing a substantial amount of product, but I also know using them dry will cause them to absorb more than desired. I am ok with these not lasting as long compared to if I moistened them with water and squeezed them out before. The real entire point of buying this set was because I was investing money, time, and effort to keeping more expensive sponges clean and sanitary and usable, when I figured I could just get a set like these and toss them when they really cannot be useful any longer. I bought these a couple months ago, and out of the entire set, this week I just said my first "goodbye" to a single sponge. I put full faces of makeup on at least 3x a week, and I did use a separate sponge for primer (that one is on it's way out but still has a few weeks). Should I throw them out more often? Maybe. That's really up to you and how sanitary reusing the sponge repeatedly for weeks on end feels to you and your skincare concerns. I'm sure if you want to use the soaps and cleansers and the hot water and the effort, you could get a longer life out of each sponge, but the value is so good I don't feel too bad about throwing one out every now and again. Would absolutely buy this set again! As a bonus, my set did come in the colors shown, and I have a little makeup display stand/rack with spaces for the sponges; they look so festive, putting six clean unused ones on the rack in a little row! Love the pop of color it gives my vanity area.

Just want i wanted

If you have a small cat, then don't buy these. My teenage niece loves these (this is the 2nd time I bought them for her). They work perfectly, and are so "very soft" as well. Which means that her small cat does everything possible to steal them from her (and plays roughly with them). They work well even after cleaning and the missing sections (due to the cat's handy-work). My niece doesn't want to change back to the ones the cat never touched, because they didn't work as good as these. Yes, they are kept in a closed drawer (not a counter), but there is no stopping the cat. Yes, I will be buying these again, and again.

Work perfectly

I spent years using name-brand sponges - but I shouldn't have bothered because these are wonderful quality and great value! The sponges absorb water quickly, and it is easy to wring out excess. They are super soft to the touch, especially when damp, and I have found that they blend out makeup really smoothly. They are also proving to be pretty durable - coming up clean wash-after-wash, keeping their shape, and not falling apart like some cheap sponges do. Just in case you are worried: some other reviews mention a smell, but mine are absolutely odourless. (I think they may just have received a bad batch!)

These makeup sponges are really soft and comfortable to use. They blend foundation smoothly and evenly, without leaving streaks. They’re also easy to clean and hold their shape well. Great quality for the price and ideal for everyday makeup.

Having the sponges shrink wrapped wasn’t what I expected. I’ve had them out for half a day and they are not plumping up. I should have known there was a catch because of the price. I will be returning for sponges which already are the shape they are supposed to be.
