Transformers: Rise of the Autobots
F**I
this is a reprint and renaming of the "Autocracy" book
BE AWARE: This is a reprint of Autocracy with a new title. It looks like IDW is going the way of Marvel and reissuing books under different names to nab unsuspecting buyers (like myself). As for the story itself:This is a solid Transformers story that I picked up after I have read every issue in both the MTMTE and RID series. This takes us back to a time before Orion Pax became a Prime and the war raged for millions of years. Zeta Prime is the corrupt ruler who has succeeded Sentinel Prime, and he uses his Autobot Police force to enforce his will. Megatron is the opposition leader (who recently blew up the Senate) and seeks to give equality to all Cybertronians. Pax and Megatron have several face to face meetings, which is one of the strengths of the book. Hot Rod plays an important part, and this should be considered his origin story.Optimus is a bit of a wet blanket and feels ineffectual at times. This does not have the excellent dialogue and character development that Roberts and Barber offer in their series, but it serves.

Last pages are misprinted/out of order
The story and art are great, but the last part of the book is misprinted. You see the last 3 pages of the ending, before the final issue even begins - not only confusing, but the story is spoiled for you.I asked for a replacement to my book to see if I just got a weird copy, but the replacement had the exact same error. I contacted the publisher, IDW twice on Facebook but never received a response.
